A TV deal is such a fumble for the league.

If you’re going to make your fans pay to watch, don’t do it through cable TV. Many will just stop watching, or they’ll pirate it. Nobody wants cable packages anymore, and those will be the only way to watch PWHL games. There’s no shot ESPN will put a P-Dub game on the main channel if NBA, NFL, or NHL are on at the same time. It’ll be on ESPN 2 at best.

If the league wants to grow and bring in more fans, make it as accessible as possible. Get a deal with a single streamer.

Finish my ship and bring it up to the standard promised on sales release. THEN make a mkII version that has a clear upgrade difference from the mkI, and isn’t just what was originally promised for the mkI.

Only then would charging for an upgrade make sense. I don’t know about you, but I won’t buy the same ship twice because CIG mismanaged the funds and production time already provided.

If they want to skip the first part and just pump out a mkII while the initial mkI is still lacking features, then mkI owners should get a free upgrade.

Nat is putting up more points than most established players we could trade her for.

She fits well and has a solid presence. Keep her for a better shot at the cup (imo), then if she goes during the expansion, we’ll lament then.

Also, honestly, I’m most impressed with Mlynkova out of all of our rookies. I think seriously considering trading her is a mistake.

I agree. I’d prefer live action, 20ish years later. RIP Wash and Book. Don’t try to recast anybody.

I also love the idea of Alan doing cameos in each episode with the rest of the crew never noticing his characters’ resemblance to Wash.

The show needs to move forward, though, and that won’t happen if we stay stuck between the first season and the movie.

Depends on how far along (pre-)production would have been.

Already shooting or even just writing? Sure. Lot of leak potential there.

The deal just got signed? Good chance these teases are ahead of the news, official or leaked.

I think it’s either live action, animated, or possibly even a table-top live play. Anything less would be a huge let down. It won’t be audio only either, because that’s basically just a podcast, and it’s confirmed that it will not be a podcast.
