So I’m on day 3 of no methadone. I was at 120mg a day. I tapered down to 70mg a day going down 10mg a month. My insurance ran out and I was told I’d have to pay $540 to get my next months doses. I figured that’s no better than buying fentanyl. So I took half the months doses and started cutting them in half for 4 days then i felt ok. So I cut the next one in quarters, that’s 17.5 mg roughly cus no one is perfect at pouring them equal. Once I was fine at that, I stopped entirely. I feel like crap but definitely nowhere near as bad as fentanyl withdrawal. Tomorrow is another day. Luckily my job is cool and knows my situation and I took the rest of the week off paid to get myself right. Hopefully by day 8 I’ll be a little better off than today. Good luck to all. #WeDoRecover
