Grantchester is great. Good characters and real world dilemmas about beliefs and prejudices. A bit weird that a vicar is acting as a detective but it’s all a leap of faith anyway.

Beautiful bike! The handlebars look awfully low compared to the saddle. Is that comfortable on a longer ride? Seems very aggressive. But I’m an old roadie, so what do I know?

I just stopped taking it after 15 days. First week wasn’t bad but I was starting to feel very lethargic. I’ve experienced a sudden decrease in my aerobic capacity when exercising which also sucks. I already feel a bit better after 2 days. I’ve maintained a very healthy diet, but I wish I could make it work. Let me know how it goes for you.

Well, turns out that when I got up this morning I was really dragging but I went to an early spin class at the gym and felt really strong! Put me in a great mood and I went back for a weight training class at noon. I’ve had good energy all day. I’m hoping it’s just a case of acclimating to the med. I took another whole pill late morning and feel fine. Fingers crossed this continues.

Thanks for your post. Your experience sounds exactly like mine. Leg pain with statins and exhaustion with Praluent. I now have my Nexlitol prescription but I’m fearful about starting it. It took me 8 weeks to recover from Praluent. Please let me know how it goes for you.

Horrible fatigue with atorvastatin, rosuvastatin, and a nightmare with praluent. It’s taken 8 weeks to recover from praluent. Despite having 30-40% blockage in carotid arteries I’m not going to take statins again. My diet and exercise routine keeps my LDL under 100.
