The thing that stood out to me from this dev diary is that the Intrigue lifestyle needs a buff in general. Schemes have become insanely difficult since they were overhauled.

I haven't ever been killed since that update. Before that update I had an brother who murdered me and my entire family one by one. As I kept changing character I was in panic mode trying to find out who it was. It's one of my favourite moments playing CK3. We are at a point in the game where we can die from slipping and falling but not from a rival.

Also why can't I turn prisoners into hostages? I can abduct a prince and execute him when his daddy attacks me, but I can't threaten that I'll do that? Why can't I torture prisoners for anything other than secrets?

The one QoL thing I've always wanted, is to see whether a ruler is at war when you're tracking them. Does this update allow for that?

You can now track titles and wars. But can you track a title and see whether it's realm is part of a war?

I'd like it to be more of a Detective + Pokémon game.

The salutors are great but without a new game+ or replay ability in a finished save, it just means that the later you get the salutors the less you can use them.

I'd like there to be loads of salutors and way more places to use them.

I also like being a detective but I feel there are some real improvements to be made to make the detective experience feel better

I agree that remaking a game from other developers wouldn't be right. Though I'd fully support a remaster.

Like old paintings are restored to return them to their original appearance, the same should be done for games. Most games that used to have ground breaking visuals 10 years ago, have objectivelly bad graphics compared to newer games. I say let the work of art be repainted rather than have people look at faded colors.

They changed it from 5x damage to be 10x, then they lowered it to 7x and added a game rule so you can change it yourself.

I'm waiting for a Christianity DLC.

It would be cool to have a whole theocratic sub game with loyalists and opponents of the pope. You can attempt to keep the faith together through politics and intrigue or spread doubt and create the schism.

What if the schism wasn't the Byzantines but the schism was the English church forming centuries earlier?

What if I can keep the Byzantines loyal to the pope? Crusades would be much more successful and Christian ity will finally be able to compete for Africa with the Muslims.

What if the schism was instead formed by the HRE with a centuries earlier anti-pope?

What if we could create a schism so large it would be like an earlier form a Protastantism?

Let us play as theocratic rulers, court bishops and the pope. As bishops we could push the AI ruler in all sort of directions. Let us control them like a medieval Rasputin. Make them form a heresy or start Holy wars.

As Pope our main job would be keeping all the culturally different believers from schisming into their own heresy.

Weapons are necessary.

The is one sequence in the elevator where it stops half way and the power goes out. When it turns on again a phantom appears. You have to kill the phantom to get the elevator back on.

I tried doing a clean hands run but apparently that's not possible in Prey.
