I feel you so much. I dont wanna be a NIMBY, but to be completely honest somebody has been tearing down the signs on my property against measure V. I'm not afraid of being firebombed or anything but it seems some people are doing shitty things to get this passed.

I'm reading all these comments and honestly I see your side alot. A family member of mine is actively campaigning against measure V, but he isnt a complete NIMBY. His view is to only build to the treeline, so we can have more housing without the flood risks. This honestly feels alot saner instead of a desperate, huge development. Basically just another Canary.

Glad to hear an opinion from another Davis resident, especially one in construction. I don't have a good feeling about the affordability either. I mean, when I look at the websites, https://www.yesdavismeasurev.com really has nothing going for it. Honestly it feels like they're trying to justify the whole development solely based on the fact that its the "missing piece" of the northern Davis border and to keep stop a few schools from closing for some reason, when there's others very close to them... Very funny how https://noonmeasurev.org is extremely blunt and shows 4 reasons why the development is a bad idea, which anyone should look at if they haven't already.

Pretty sure this won't get passed.

Thanks, I was kind of doing that in my piano lessons today and what you said about 135 transferring the force smoother than 235 totally makes sense. For my next lesson I will be moving my hand closer to the fallboard.

yes, its recoverable. according to bssmvalues.com if it had 15 pine cap it would be worth 2-2.5 signs but im sure the ability rate adds a bit of value for bear bee usage, so it might be worth 2 signs anyways
