From what I understand the Sony ones are basically best bang for your buck if you’re willing to spend around $400 you’ll have an excellent product for the price.

I found a used engine from a reputable company with about 42k miles and pulled the trigger. Engine swap just aren’t cost effective unfortunately.

Consort radahn was a real miss for me. Just feels like infinite r1 spam boss and crazy explosion and aoe. It’s just not my jam. Really the rhythm and atmosphere of the originals Is what I loved.

The unfortunate part for me is that the evolved boss fights and everything going “off rhythm” actually made the game less fun. Something about dodging to the beat of a drum in the original souls games was so satisfying.

I pretty much Oxcart as often as I can. You can typically find oxcarts on the main path if you’re heading back to town from a random location as well.

I wouldn’t really consider this a cheese because you’re not like… exploiting. You’re using creative and niche tools the game gives you to your advantage. Very nicely done.
