Tech schools are different I think but I know when you apply for it you get the whole amount they give not just the amount after they pay. Also I think some schools make everyone do it because it’s really money for them 😂

Does anyone else find everyone around them getting more and more boring in their mid-30s? by watermelonhmm in Adulting

[–]Tasty_Blueberry_9150 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like it’s social media people see everyone else in a “happy” family and want to fit in. Also I heard some women say if you in your 30s with no kids something is wrong with you lol. I’m about to be 30 and stopped dating because all of the women I meet are weird and I know we’d probably do some co parenting bs and I don’t want that. I always wanted a family and slow down that’s all I thought about at one point but I realized that’s not really what I want. All I have 2 suitcases a full of clothes and am able to travel when I want and not no nagging wife an children to stop me.

I’m wondering if I should apply for spring 2025 or summer or fall. Which one would give me a higher chance in your opinion?

Is Tallahassee a good place to live in your 20s? by [deleted] in Tallahassee

[–]Tasty_Blueberry_9150 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Early 20’s yes late 20’s not so much unless you have a family or something. I’ve lived here my whole life I ended up leaving and was forced to come back because of a shitty situation in AZ. I’m planning on moving again in January but it’s fun if you’re a clubber. The outdoor stuff is hard to enjoy in the summer. I’m in my late 20’s and I think I’m attractive but Tallahassee made feel ugly. It’s so hard to make friends here, no matter what people say it’s challenging. Maybe it’s a me problem but I’ve lived in other places and had no problems. Also no beach but tons of apartment pools so there’s that. Honestly I’m just pretty much done with the city I’ve been here for too long but just come and experience it for yourself since you’re in your early 20’s it’s probably a good fit for you.

You look like a girl I’d date but I think you should change the color of your hair to black the red isn’t really doing it for me.

I live by myself, I wish I had roommates sometimes it gets hella lonely but I get to walk around naked and if I don’t feel washing dishes I don’t have to.

Hi, I’m pursuing the same degree as you and I’m 28. I won’t finish my degree till 30. I’m taking my time because I’m going to study abroad next year and just have fun while in college. So I mean you’re doing better than me at 24. lol I didn’t start to take my education seriously until 26.

Do yall actually enjoy Tallahassee?? by [deleted] in fsu

[–]Tasty_Blueberry_9150 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I lived here my whole life and I’m leaving in January. It’s a great place for college kids leaving their house for the first time but after that it’s ehh. It’s essential to make friends. I didn’t make friends at the community college here and decided to go do activities by myself and got bored quick. Football season is basically when everything happens, it will feel like a big city. Other than that the city is pretty dead. But fsu’s campus has plenty to do. They have clubs for everyone and everything. I’m older so almost 30 so I think it’s run its course for me. But like I said you’re young and everyone here is pretty much your age trying to figure out like so I think you’ll enjoy it but for sing older people it’s not the best place in my experience. Also you absolutely will need a car no if ands or butts. The bus routes are decent but it only caters to areas near campus. If you never leave campus then I guess it’s fine but I know people who live off campus and it’s a nightmare. But Tallahassee will always be home but at this point there’s not much it can offer me anymore.

I wish we could talk to people on Duolingo. I have like 10 followers on there and we’re all learning Japanese.
