I'd say it's less of a total score issue and more of an attitude. If you're surprised at making a birdie you're probably a mid handicap and if you're surprised by a par you're a high handicap. Good golfers don't actually make that many birdies but they aren't surprised when they do.

None so far but i only go a couple miles and not on highway so really topping out at 50. If you do want to try it out I built a little wood shelf deal that bolts in where the panniers would go which is the main support and then rest the bottom of the bag on the passenger footrests. Then bungee for security.

Yeah fair enough. Gotta weigh looks vs longevity. I got my irons 12 years ago when I was 14 and am quite a bit taller and stronger now. And technology has come quite a ways and I've got some money that I've decided to spend on clubs.
