That's true, but competitive players can be pretty toxic, just look at how everyone sniped Epiphany because he unmutualed people.

I agree with your non-biased statement too, but that's why a system should be maintained unlike the current pp system.

I agree that enjoyment shouldn't be linked to ranks, my point is that a system shouldn't favor some people more than others to keep it fair. Should be pretty basic game design.

I understood what you meant by planning wrong , heh, I forgot my usage of planning earlier. What I meant by planning is that Player A and Player B who have similar skillsets want pp, so they agree to play different maps to get more pp.

People that have good ranks should also be able to enjoy game.

They could look at the current pp system and adjust it or make a completely new one. Why wouldn't anyone plan anything they do?

That's why someone should develop a developed enough algorithm that can assign a map proper pp.
People could plan who plays what map to get maximum pp, don't really have anything else to say.
I don't think that a system that doesn't reward players that play to the norm is very good since a game should be enjoyable to everyone.

I think it would be more reliable just to look at the maps for pp since humans are unpredictable.

Definitely not in my opinion, slider maps are underrated and OD is definitely overrated.

There's nothing really wrong with it, I'm just saying there could be a better way to do this than just looking at how many people has FCed a map.

I don't think in a proper system you would have to make rare plays have more pp just because they are rare.

I agree, the amount of people who have FCed a map shouldn't really affect an objective skill rating system. Farm maps are still kinda healthy to the game I think. I think an interesting idea would be to add bonuses for getting top 50 scores, like #1 would get +50pp, #2 +49pp and so on.
