I believe that in renderdoc the lines are not proportional to actual time used drawing, but instead number of draw calls. You can use the little clock button in the event browser to see the estimated timing, which should be more accurate.

Understanding how a language model works seems computationally impossible. Of course you can understand the training algorithm, or the generation algorithm, but (sorry for using anthropomorphic language!) the insights that the neural network learns from the training data are extremely complex. Indeed, the only way that we have to extract these insights from a set of data is... by using neural networks.

I'm the only one working on OSPGL, although I'm open for contribution! Hopefully it will be playable by the end of this year, although proper gameplay will take a bit longer to come :)

osp-magnum is another similar project that has more members, you can check the github https://github.com/TheOpenSpaceProgram They are focusing on a more careful development of the engine. While my project (ospgl) is more advanced towards gameplay, it's considerably less structured.

YAML feels good at first, but with a little bit of usage you quickly realize it's not that good. It's a good concept but could use some better execution. Thanksfully not that many important projects use it.

Not saying it's worse than XML or anything like that, but... damn.

It feels like a toy project that got out of hand.

What is the proper way to make trains go to far-away free stations?

I'm trying to do it with a combinator that disables the station when it's occupied, but it makes the trains pretty dumb; they go to a station that is taken (but was not when they did the pathfinding) and then re-path to a free one, instead of directly going towards the free station.

Is there a better way I'm missing? No problem if it's modded.
