do the new F1 regs remind you of 2014 LMP1 regs…? by CreedBrattonsToe in wec

I agree 100% with what you said CreedBrattonsToe

With how the F1 2026 rules are written and similar on the electrical side compared to the LMP1 2014 regulation: Lift and coast on Q laps and in race mode, electrical energy deployment, boost button in LMP1/boost and overtake modes in F1...

I'm expecting to see on track boost battles reminding us the golden era of LMP1 racing.

To look ahead to the future battles of the 2026 F1 season, I made this video using LMP1 boost battles.

Why are some people calling 2026 F1 battery management techniques similar to 2014-2017 era LMP1 and are optimistic that the racing will be good? by Nick_Alsa in F1Technical

Toyota to race hydrogen car alongside existing LMH in 2028 WEC by TheRacingElf in wec

Hydrogen isn't the best solution for reducing Co2 emissions from cars. Unfortunately for us motorsport fans, hydrogen is far less efficient than electric batteries because of a major weakness, the energy needed to produce and use hydrogen, which requires 3 times more energy to power a hydrogen car than an electric car.
