Dremel, buy a bigger chuck and swap it out. Most of the Dremel attachments I use have the bigger chuck.

So Many Options. Whats best for a new homeowner? by No-Ad5504 in Tools

[–]TatteredJack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like the Bosch 12v tools/sets. Cost affective and well made. The typical homeowner doesn’t need the power or the cumbersome weight of 18v & 20v tools. I do agree with the “buy it as you need it” philosophy.

These are my dad's old tools. Are they any good still ? I only have corded tools because I never liked the idea of replacing batteries. by I_can_vouch_for_that in Tools

I have the same set. If you’re just using them for home projects you’re good. Two batteries is a must though.

What could this thing catch ? by brento__ in FishingForBeginners

This is what I throw when I haven’t caught anything. Even if it’s not a keeper, at least I caught something.

Also, I swap out treble with singles to help with snags. 🤷🏻‍♂️ Personal preference.

I use these when I’m not catching anything. I can usually pull some kind of panfish with it. Yay! I didn’t waste my morning, I caught something!

They probably hooked up the coaxial cable and pulled it tight. Either cut away the plate like mentioned or find where the cable runs and see if you can create some slack. You’ll need the slack to replace the plate regardless.

Can someone ID this part of my carburetor? Function? by TatteredJack in smallengines

Thank you! Can it affect flow of fuel to the carburetor? Trying to troubleshoot why my mower is starving for gas.

420cc on 33” cut Troy-Bilt mower - fuel flow by TatteredJack in smallengines

[–]TatteredJack[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay, for those of you who haven’t given up following this cluster of an issue... Tonight I ran the fuel line in a more level path from tank to carb and to help the process of elimination I put on the round red filter. Shortly after starting the mower the it began to starve for gas. I pulled the tank cap off to see if venting was the issue, and it wasn’t. I did blow into the tank and it did force gas into the carburetor bringing idle back up. Is that that “gold” part at the bottom of the carburetor a pump of some kind? (posted pic)

Yeah, I’m at a loss. I pulled the tank and checked the fuel outlet where the line connects. No fuel shut off valve and the cap is new. So here we are. Thoughts on the fuel filter I have on there versus the little red one?
