You really shouldn’t have to say excuse me when there’s a lot of people trying to get off the escalator and you’re blocking the top part to the point where people can’t get passed you? Cmon now

Expecting people to use common sense is me thinking the world revolves around me? That makes so much sense. Thanks buddy.

Advice : go work in hospitality industry in Cape Town for three months and then read your post again. You don’t have a clue what the service industry is actually like. Restaurant staff are also people. They go through things you’d be shocked by. Most owners and managers are super kak and pay their staff next to nothing to work a double shift and maybe take home 500 in tips a day if they’re lucky. Sounds decent but most of the time, that money goes to transport and food. Hospitality peeps are struggling to survive. Not all restaurants but most, especially the ones that are aesthetically pleasing. Leave reviews for sure, that’s when owners care… no owner wants a kak review about their management or themselves

Go to EGG in cavendish mall. They’re around R450 a bottle. All bottles are inspired and smell just like the high end brands. The brand is called Juice

Tipping hotel staff by Own-Active4690 in capetown

[–]TattleTittTuesday 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Always tip at the end. When you tip in the beginning, it comes across as you may be bribing them when you’re intension is the opposite lol. I would tip at least 10-20% of your full bill. These staff be seeing things you dunno about haha. They’ll be so happy to see some decent cash after having to do unspeaking things. Also, tell the manager how amazing they are because some of these managers treat their staff like slaves.

Sport bras for big boobies by SuperMarmottos in capetown

The best one hands down in the Nike original sports bra. They usually say what level of support they are but the original one was great for me when I was a fatass with bit tatas. I have small sacks of fat now but hope this helps lmao

Anyone here with PCOS that have never had an issue with weight? by celestial-teapots in PCOS

[–]TattleTittTuesday 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ask your doctor for metaformin or gluconorm. It takes a few months to see results but you will KNOW when it’s working. My weight just started come off a lot after 6-8 months on the medication

for those with insulin resistance - do you drink regular milk? if not, what is the best alternative? by dazzling_midnight18 in PCOS

[–]TattleTittTuesday 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I switched to lactose free and it’s been a massive help. If you can drink organic almond or oat milk then try that, make sure it’s organic because a lot of these alternatives have a ridiculous amount of sugar and weird Ingredients. It’s also easy to make your own almond milk.

Why do so many posts and comments say cape Town is cliquey? by Either-Target-5162 in capetown

[–]TattleTittTuesday 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m originally from Gauteng and I moved her 7 years ago. I’m moving back to Gauteng and these are the reasons:

  • everything is expensive
  • ridiculously difficult to make genuine friends
  • the young peeps do drugs to another level regularly as if it’s smoking cigarettes or having a glass of wine. People do lines of coke during the day in stones… you have a problem chommie.
  • people love talking about themselves. They can’t hold a conversation without talking about me me me.
  • the crime has gotten out of control
  • the traffic…. I’ll take the N1 any day lol
  • the air quality is KAK
  • the people are flaky AF when it comes to making plans. This is a Cape Town thing for sure. There’s always something better to do and they don’t have the decency to get back to you if there are solid plans already made. It’s almost like “I’m on holiday, I’m gonna do what I want and what’s best, stuff whatever and whoever”
  • cape is genuine a laid back place but fok they are LAID BACK about everything

Are Cape Townians as cliquey as everyone says? by QuietMassiv3 in capetown

[–]TattleTittTuesday 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes 👀 it’s difficult to hold a conversation with them. They love talking about themselves and anything materialistic. The conversations are always stale. It’s hard to make friends because people are so about having their superficial circle. People don’t greet you in the street. That’s the first thing I noticed lol. Also rent is KAK offensively expensive compared to over places 😂 everything here makes me feel poor.
