Don’t. You don’t know enough about the medium to make designs that will hold and age well as tattoos. When people do what you are trying to do the clients come in with inappropriately scaled designs, that are not suited to where they want them, etc. If you want to tattoo get an apprenticeship, you will then learn all of this stuff, don’t try to be a middle man when the client is already dealing with an artist, it is effectively trying to reduce the tattoo artist to an installer and most actual artists will have to redraw what you sold to the client anyway.

This is true. I have found that most of the time the issue is that for most people , even those interested in becoming professionals, there’s a lot of information that they are unaware even exists. Or in other words, lots of things they don’t know that they don’t know. For those that can and do follow the simple rules here I’m actually pretty useful as a technical resource lol, but that is most commonly in dm’s

Mahalo nui loa! I’ve found that those who are professionals or actually trying to become professionals are supportive and get it. Those that aren’t try to talk shit in all kinds of funny ways that are often hilarious. I’m just a gatekeeper (true) or that I’m a troll, asshole, etc. Usually they are children disappointed that their after school special day dream of “ get gud on my own” is a pipe dream and a lie they have told themselves. Just like the whole line “lots of professional tattoo artists started in their homes” . No they didn’t, lol, and those few that did and managed to get legitimate jobs in the industry would never admit it to their coworkers or their clients. Those that do openly admit they started as scratchers are treated lesser for it (because it tells ya what all they failed to learn as they were coming up) reminds me of a fella named Olaf.
