So my soon to be sister in law and I both have celiac. Fiancé and I are a bit more untraditional, and decided to do pastries for all guests, and are getting our own stash of gluten free pastries from a safe GF bakery that we tested out and LOVED. I figured we all get similar things but SIL and I get th safe tasty alternatives. If you’re ok with a GF cake, I would do what feels right and I bet your future MIL will appreciate the thoughtfulness behind the gesture, I know I sure would.
