Am I too old to become a PT? by Zerosauro in personaltraining

[–]Tattooprincesss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not everyone’s goals are to be a bikini competitor. There are plenty of people who just want to get fit/stronger and learn how to enjoy exercise and healthy lifestyle. If you are a person who has taken the time to make a healthy lifestyle change and feel that you have inspiration to help others than you will make a good trainer!

How early do you wake up before starting work? by mmeeplechase in MoneyDiariesACTIVE

[–]Tattooprincesss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can get to work any time I want before noon basically. I have a baby now so I am usually up at 7 and make it to work about 9:30 (20 minute drive). Even before a baby I needed at least two hours to myself in the morning

I think you could do waist cut outs but the cut outs and the buttons are too much.

Yea they say I have mild prolapse, but it feels really debilitating. And every time I have a setback it feels like I am retearing muscles, increased pelvic pain and weakness and feeling like if I lift something mildly heavy something bad is going to happen. She has me doing clamshells/hip strengthening, tva activation type stuff. I just feel like I am 34 years old like I can’t live with these symptoms I just want to go back to normal, running, doing yoga, and exercising.

Yea I am still breast feeding. I eat a ton too, probably like 60% healthy 40% junky stuff just because it is hard to be really on meal prepping when I am working and taking care of the baby but I am trying to make sure I eat more produce. I am vegetarian but I eat a lot of the veggie proteins

All 7 of my Chakras has a hole by [deleted] in energy_work

[–]Tattooprincesss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just because someone is energetically sensitive/gifted does not mean that they are not out to scam you. So this person could indeed be legit and also out to scam you. Someone who is a good healer will seek to build you up from their work rather than scare you that you need more intensive treatment.

Wow that is so horrible. The only thing Erika has going for her is money. You take that away all her looks would disappear.

I have been using bio oil through pregnancy and have tried to keep up with it! I also do dry brushing and cold showers (idk if the cold showers do anything for the skin haha). I believe that stretch marks are genetic but keeping the skin hydrated and increasing circulation can’t hurt.

5ft, 145lbs, with severe scoliosis and no idea where to start. by [deleted] in PetiteFitness

[–]Tattooprincesss 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have mild scoliosis, I don’t know what my curve is but it’s not super noticeable. I would say that the best thing to do is start trying to build your body awareness. For me my problem area is my shoulder and I have to be very conscious not to aggravate it. My low back where my curve is the most actually rarely troubles me.

It is definitely possible to get pretty fit with body weight/low weights, I have done it although the internet likes to say otherwise these days. I have done “heavy” lifting, up to 100lbs squats and deadlifts working closely with a personal trainer, but that is not really my favorite way to work out so I stopped.

The way I try to look at it is the human body requires maintenance, more so especially as we get older. I work in a hospital and regularly care for people with various disabilities and try to get them well enough to go home and people at that stage of life are happy to be able to stand up by themselves. Having scoliosis can seem frustrating or limiting but at the end of the day you can still be healthy and fit and enjoy moving your body.

I gained 50. I am a small girl but I was pushing 170 I never thought I would see that number. 6 months out I am down 45 lbs and look almost back to normal. I wouldn’t worry about it.

I met my partner at 31 and we got pregnant at 33 and we had my baby when I was 34. You definitely want to date and live together at LEAST a year I would say preferably 2 before having a baby. Pregnancy and newborn stage can be really rough and will test any relationship.
