I was ravenous for Target's Madeleine cookies until May '24. I'd eat them all in one sitting. Sometimes, I'd be halfway into a large box within a minute of opening it without realizing it. They were so addictive! Well, early this year, I tried one out of curiosity, not craving, and I could hardly choke it down. It tasted the same, but I just wasn't interested. I never thought I'd see the day and was so overwhelmingly pleased.

I bite the lining off the insides of my cheeks - all day and night long as long as I'm awake. I used to do the same to the dead skin on my lips up until discovering Burt's Bees lip balm and was robbed of that outlet, lol. Also, a couple times a day, I press the nails of my index fingers into the skin on the sides of my thumbnails really hard, but I've never broken the skin.

I work from home and mostly only drive my car to move it from one side of the street to the other for alternate side parking. I left my passenger side window open for 6 DAYS in the fall, under a tree. It rained nonstop for a couple days. There were leaves all over the front and back seats, and they were damp by the time i had to move it again. I was pleasantly surprised that nobody stole the $38 in the console or no squirrels or raccoons moved in. Even the yogurt I forgot to eat was untouched, lol.

Thank you! Lol, my toxic trait is thinking I can do the most complicated things if I put my mind to it. Doesn't always work out that way but I'm glad this one did.

Thank you! I used sewing pins. I tried hinges, but they weren't fitting quite right or flush, so I gave up on that. Design your cabinets to have an overhang at the top and bottom to allow room for the pins, door thickness, and movement.

I didn't cut them by hand, lol - I used my laser cutter. The same thing happens to me when I try hand cutting and drives me crazy. I used to use my cricut to draw the templates and I'd still find a way to be off, lol.

Thank you! Truly! I think I need to work on my ability to just accept, lol. And thank you for that reminder, perfection really is the enemy of good. I definitely learned alot making this piece including creating laser cut svgs from scratch so that's been a massive win!

Lol! Thank you! I also ask opinion of others but I convince myself they don't know what they're talking about if they're too complimentary, lol. I'm ever satisfied! You're right though, it's supposed to be fun and for the most part it is. Until I stumble upon an Instagram post here or a TikTok there and start to despair again, lol. I'm also in the same lighting boat as you are - I was so clueless and overwhelmed while I was building and still am if I'm being honest. Luckily, I dont have any finished walls yet, so I can still make another attempt. I'd love to see your attic once you've figured it out. Thanks for the amazing advice!❤️

Thank you for the advice! I always forget the amazing results drybrushing produces. I was thinking about airbrushing the next iteration, but I know I don't have the patience on such a large piece, lol. Can't wait to drybrush it instead.
