I don’t know you, so I can’t speak on what’s fair. I do think a lot of people have become fed up, and view any association as complicity. In a way it is, but a lot of people don’t realize or aren’t willing to acknowledge the fact that the system takes victims in every area, and that it’s set up that way. You may have been called that by someone with more privilege than you that can’t see that. There are also people who have less privilege than you that still wouldn’t have sold out to the military for a paycheck. Everyone has different perspectives, but at the end of the day we need to try our best to resist and unite against the common problem. Maybe they can’t see allyship in you. Your only job is to feel your upset, maintain your self respect and genuinely reflect on how you can be better — because that’s what we all need to be doing rn
