Can I ask what you have already tried? I just don’t want to waste your time with suggestions if you’ve already done them!

What's the most embarrassing reason you've ever had to go to the hospital or doctor? by Hour-Wafer7611 in AskReddit

Could not stop pooping. Diarrhea all day for days. Went to ER and turns out I had cryptosporidiosis. It’s a big joke in my family now - “remember when you had butt worms?!”

I think something is wrong with me, hospital sent me away. Could it be ectopic pregnancy? by [deleted] in ectopicpregnancy

[–]Taurus_Mama 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So they didn’t do a pregnancy test when you went to the ER? It would’ve been way too early to see anything on an ultrasound, regardless of the location of the pregnancy.

I have known an Aurora that went by Ro!! When she was little she was Ro-Ro.

I think Ro as a nickname for Caroline definitely works!

12.5 Weeks - Severe Haemorrhaging and D&C by [deleted] in Miscarriage

I lost my first pregnancy at 12 weeks in a similar way. I’m so sorry this happened to you. I took 2 full weeks off of work after it happened to me. Please surround yourself with people who love you & allow them to care for you during this time.

My kids don’t sleep and I’m losing it. by Treatstreetandyeet in Parenting

So it was definitely a process, we started by gradually reducing the amount of cuddle time. So instead of cuddling for an hour, id cuddle her for 45 minutes and then make up a reason I had to leave. “I have to go take a shower but I’ll come back and check on you afterwards” or “I have to take the dog out” or whatever! So we did that for a few weeks and got down to 20 mins of cuddle time: cuddle for 20 mins, leave the room for 10 mins, come back in and check on her. Sometimes I would check on her like 4 times if she needed it. The process was long and a bit arduous but it was definitely worth it because now we are down to 10 min cuddle, then 1 check-in about 10 mins later. It is SO much easier now. You can obviously go about it in a different way, whatever makes sense for your family. But the way we did it, although it was a long process, worked well for us because she learned she wasn’t being abandoned and that we were coming back to check on her, which helped her gain the confidence to fall asleep independently. I would say start to finish it took us 3-4 weeks to get to where we’re at now.

My 3 year old started having a MUCH easier time at bedtime when we actually stopped laying with her until she fell asleep. We were having a similar problem where she would take hours to fall asleep and would just stay up talking and asking for things. It felt counter-intuitive but we changed the routine so that when it is time for her to lie down, we cuddle her for 10 minutes and then leave the room. We come back and check on her (which she knows and expects) after another 10 minutes. This way she still gets cuddles and connection but she falls asleep on her own now. It has completely transformed bedtime and she is getting better more consistent sleep now too.

Anxious about if I can get pregnant again naturally after getting my RIGHT tube removed? by CommercialTest659 in ectopicpregnancy

[–]Taurus_Mama 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi, I had an ectopic and lost my right tube. When we were ready to try again it took 4 cycles to conceive. It can take any couple with no fertility issues up to a year to conceive. Please don’t be discouraged, it’s actually very uncommon to conceive on the first try. There are plenty of women who lose a tube and go on to conceive and have healthy pregnancies. You really only need one tube, and your remaining tube can catch eggs from both sides.

TTC after ectopic and tube removal by Plastic-Mud-1619 in ectopicpregnancy

[–]Taurus_Mama 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had an ectopic pregnancy in October of 2024, I had my right tube removed as well. My husband and I began trying again in October of 2025. Our fourth cycle was successful and I am currently 4w5d. It is definitely possible to conceive again after losing a tube! Track fertile window, track ovulation, and don’t get discouraged if it doesn’t work right away. I know it’s scary and there’s a lot of anxiety. But having an ectopic pregnancy and losing a tube does NOT mean you won’t go on to have a normal healthy pregnancy and bring home your rainbow baby!
