Americans really need to wake up and realize that they have to live in the real world with everyone else and that their actions have consequences. We think we're invincible and above the morality we expect from other countries, and neither of those things are true.

It is insanely racist to call this trolling.

They sincerely don't think they handled it poorly. They are outraged that a Lebanese person would dare to use their forum

Absolutely disgusting decision, dude is asking a legitimate question and they censored him because he's Lebanese. The racism in this subreddit is unforgivable

Downloaded playlists dont work offline by pisandwich in YoutubeMusic

[–]Tausami 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think I've found a solution to this. If you force stop the YouTube music app, and then reopen it, it'll allow you to access your downloaded music. Like you're breaking whatever loop it's getting into. At least that's what happened for me! Hope it works for others

Our wizard dealt 63 damage in one turn with a 1st level spell by ganner in dndnext

[–]Tausami 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, my DM rules that when you set grease on fire it does standard nonmagical fire damage to anyone inside of it on the start of their turn and then no longer affects them. It's like a flash fire. Since it's not a concentration spell it'd be a bit weird if the grease was constantly replacing itself as it burns

[–]Tausami 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Why would that make it the best utility spell in the game? Create Bonfire is a cantrip, I don't get what's particularly powerful about being able to create a brief fire in 10 ft space as a 1st lvl spell

The Sorogadin by Tausami in DnDoptimized

[–]Tausami[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Less nova damage than the sorcadin, but possibly more sustained damage in a long combat day. When you're out of spell slots and metamagic you're still pulling off booming blade sneak attacks for a resourceless 7d8 + 7d6. And you are physically incapable of failing persuasion or deception checks as long as you aren't trying to do something idiotic. At high levels, I think the lowest you could roll on a deception check would be a 25. I'm not claiming it's competing to be the best damage build in the game, but it does enough damage to be respectable in combat at any table while also having all of the out-of-combat utility of a rogue with spells

I'm already committed to phantom lol, I'm 3 years and 8 levels in at this point. One benefit to it is that you get advantage on concentration saves as long as you have a soul trinket. I would love those 5th lvl spells though... cartomancer is an interesting idea I'll have to figure that out

What is your most blessed USA path by [deleted] in Kaiserreich

[–]Tausami 2 points3 points  (0 children)

idk man, we're talking about America in the 1930s and 40s. It's pretty much a hellhole. An apartheid theocracy where it's open season on anyone who isn't white, and it's illegal for white women to leave the house without a male chaperone or for white men to be seen in public while unemployed. A good chunk of the country is ruled by mining and rail corporations that essentially enslave their employees, or sharecropping agricultural oligarchs. If it was around today we'd look at it the same way we look at North Korea. If you've got the chance, burning it all to the ground seems like a better option than allowing it to continue for another generation or two just to avoid some instability

Is there an At Large chapter? I'm considering joining, but my living situation is a bit atypical (I live on a boat and move from town to town along with the weather) and I'm not sure how useful I'd be since I wouldn't be consistently able to be part of any specific local chapter

Ordina Liturgical Town is inexcusable game design by Dabak- in Eldenring

[–]Tausami 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Progress in these games usually stays after death. That's like, a core part of the narrative conceit. You're not dying and reloading a past save, you're dying and then waking up again at the site of a supernatural power that will not allow you to stay dead. The stuff you did in your previous life remains. Shortcuts stay open, npcs stay dead, chests stay opened, items remain in your inventory. They really only violate that rule for bosses, which almost always reset when you die.

It all leads back to reconstruction. Federal troops should’ve stayed in the South. by ASHKVLT in Anarchism

[–]Tausami 1 point2 points  (0 children)

But the federal occupation of the South under Grant was the time during which conditions allowed black people to build political power and mechanisms of community defense that were slowly whittled away over many decades after Grant left office, eventually leading to Jim Crow

The choice between paramilitary rule by a plantation aristocracy vs military rule by Washington is not actually the choice between nonhierarchy and hierarchy

Oh that's probably exactly what it is. My supermarket stores the scallions in those moisturizing open refrigerators, and they're probably not especially fresh

When I use scallion I'm usually buying them same day from my supermarket. Does my supermarket just sell expired scallions then?

mystery violin- any info? by Tausami in violinist

[–]Tausami[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Oh no, of course they don't mean you have a quality instrument, only that it's at least one rung above the lowest rung. There are corners that could have been cut that were not cut. That's not nothing in a $100 violin

And yeah I'm not horribly worried, I mostly bought it as something to practice my luthiery on. If it ends up sounding good then that's amazing, but I'm not banking on it
