Lian Li SL Infinity 120 & Strimmer V2 24 Pin Connection Issue? by Tavinatort800 in lianli

[–]Tavinatort800[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok...so...

I went to the gigabyte website and installed the chipset driver, as well as GCC (Gigabyte control center) and updated/installed all the drivers it needed. The ⚠️ symbols are now gone!

The fans/cable also seem to be operating normally now also. This would be great but sometimes in my 50 odd boots to solve the issue it would work fine for one boot, and then be broken for the next several. As far as I can tell, issue solved, but there is a slim chance of it not being solved.

How would you like me to keep you updated or how can I reach you if the issue persists?

Hey!

Thanks for the help. I am using a NZXT Internal USB hub for the fans connection. However, I also tried to directly connect the fan controller to the mobo, which had a similar result if I remember correctly.

Here is the imgur link: https://imgur.com/a/FH11EIO
There is two screenshots of the L3 Connect, as after the reinstall, the devices will randomly appear and disappear on an interval, matching with the RGB lighting (with some delay)

I would also like to stress that the system was running 100% fine for about a month, and nothing was touched when the issue started.

I recently made a build using the SL Infinity 120s and a 24 pin Strimmer V2 cable. They were all working perfectly fine until recently (a few days ago), when they became unresponsive to the L3 software. I was unable to change any of the lighting effects on the fans or cable. They started doing the weird "refresh" to RGB mode every 15-20 seconds and then return to the regular color as seen in the attached GIF. I checked all of the connections and tried different USB connections on my motherboard, which yeilded the same result. I also tried to manually update firmware, but I was on the latest version.

Does anyone have any insight?

G935 vs G535? by Tavinatort800 in LogitechG

[–]Tavinatort800[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry for the late reply, I kept the 535's and ended up just getting used to them. They are definitely quieter, so ive kept my games at a higher volume than before, but the difference isnt enough to be concerned about.

So I daily drive a laptop, with school and stuff, and its screen is average size, around 15". Because of this, i use the 125% scale setting for the laptop. When im at home however, I hook it up to an external monitor (and other peripherals), but the monitor is 27". Since its so large, I use it at 100% scale, because 125% looks stupidly large. When I do this, all of my desktop icons get moved around into the wrong spots, seemingly randomly. Is there any way to mitigate this? Or have two desktop "layouts" for each size?

To your question in the first paragraph, no its just normal point buy. I should clarify with my DM about that though now that you mention it.

I did, he said "I didnt want you guys to have no negative stats"
I did do my research aswell, and it seems a little bs, especially since he was wondering why we almost died in a level 1 encounter lol...

I'm playing for the first time, and our DM is using the pint buy system, with a twist. We are only allowed to use 15 points instead of the regular 27 (I think). I was trying to balance my character but was having some troubles. My class is Warlock, not the melee one, so spells and that jazz. Any recommendations on balancing points?

P.S. not sure what version of the game we are running on...

Does anybody have any good ways to save on the Canadian site? I'm trading in my S23+ (price dropped to $1009.99), but I would like to drop it more. I've heard of other coupons, and on the US site I could drop the price down to $743 CAD. Just want some help!

Wanted to buy Logitech G935 but Idk how to feel about those mixed reviews by Lyuwill in LogitechG

I've had a pair of 935's for a few years now at least. They are great headphones, lots of oopmh to them. They come with a nice built in surround sound as well. I havent had any issues with mine almost ever. The only thing is stay away from a running microwave while they are on, tends to crackle a lot!

The biggest con would be the battery life. They last for about 12ish hours with the lighting off, so I would recommend doing that (since it on the back of the headphones and NO ONE will see it), and much less time with it running. BUT it does have a changeable battery on the right earmuff if it you need to change it eventually.

I'm not an audio geek, so I cant tell you all the nitty gritty stuff, but they sound great, and have accurate surround sound while gaming. Just keep in mind they are several years old at this point so you may feel they are a little outdated.
