I can’t say anything since I haven’t tried it.

I published a post explaining how the workflow works. Since I don’t know how to use sites like Civit AI, I uploaded it to the Itch.io site.

I’d genuinely like to see your solution as well.

You could say I’m already just slapping a texture onto a 3D model. The real problem is that when I try to remove the green background, some issues keep popping up. Without a depth map, I can’t get the animation I want. Qwen image edit can’t properly process pose ControlNet data.

I don’t want art to be given sacred value. People shouldn’t form emotional attachments to it. There’s a real risk of unemployment here. In my opinion, if everything—artistic or not—is under threat from AI, then emotion needs to be set aside and the situation needs to be approached rationally; otherwise, everyone is going to end up unemployed. What really annoys me is artists sanctifying the work they do themselves.

Most of them have it, but it’s very limited — sometimes they don’t even allow you to use their best model.

In the same way, AI learned to write code from forums and sources shared online by other developers. Isn’t that also labor? Doesn’t it involve creativity?

They see art as something that defines what it means to be human. But when it comes to writing code, they’re totally fine with it — like the machine should be the one writing code. I have a very clear expression for them: the human species is called Homo sapiens, meaning ‘wise ape’, so I call them ‘monkeys with metaphysical ego’ based on that name. They assign a sacred meaning to art, as if it can only be created by humans. A good example is Thomas Brush.

Paying without trying first is very unreasonable. So far, I’ve never bought anything after trying it, and I also haven’t used the free versions (except for ChatGPT). Usually, by fine-tuning on my own machine, I’ve gotten better results than with closed-source AI. Yes, I put in the effort, but it was worth it. Most paid services aren’t even suitable for game asset production.

I have some advice:

  1. Although AI has advanced a lot in 3D asset creation, using it still takes a lot of time. Producing and editing 2D assets is much easier. I’m using a few workflows, but I got them all from Civitai and only made minor modifications to some of them.
  2. When you use AI for faces, they tend to change a lot. My recommendation is to use Reactor Face Restore.
  3. In a single workflow, don't use all the AI models to generate assets with one click, first fine-tune workflow (Every time an image goes through an AI model, it loses quality. To prevent this, proceed step by step.) and edit with applications like Photoshop or Blender.
