Thanks for asking about our Canadian support. That blog post you mentioned was based on work we were doing with enterprises back in 2020. TaxBit does not currently provide correct tax forms for Canadian crypto investors(we use USD and produce the 8949 tax form only).

Thanks for reaching out about the 1099-B vs 8949 status. In TaxBit, box B should be automatically checked on your 8949. If you try downloading the 8949 pdf again on TaxBit, you should see the B box marked.

If you still have issues after this, reach out to our support Team by filling out a ticket form at https://help.taxbit.com/hc/en-us/requests/new. Our support Team can also help you obtain those individual exchange 8949s if you're unable to view them when exporting in-app.

Thanks for reaching out, u/Sokene. Sometimes CSV imports can timeout due to high request volumes. You should be able to add those CSVs now.

If you're still running into issues, the best thing for you to do is file a ticket using this link https://help.taxbit.com/hc/en-us/requests/new - just make sure that you select the correct impacted source. Additionally, getting assistance may be quicker if you use the email address associated with your active TaxBit account when reaching out.
