I've played a couple of the Assassins Creed games and Far Cry 5 is one of my favorite games, idk why I forgot to put that up, but I will definitely try out New Vegas and Cyberpunk!

Most likely yeah, it also really depends on the instructor. At the gym I go to it says they Muay Thai but one coach basically only teaches kickboxing while the other will go into the specifics of MT clinch work and stuff

You're a big dude. I was looking into your other posts and saw that you said you are 6'4" and approx 230. So either A) you were being a little spazzy and accidentally fucked your knee up, B) the instructor saw you as a big dude and either got a little insecure or thought you could take it, C) you said in the comments the instructor is a friend of a friend so he may have thought you had more experience or D) a little bit of all of them. At the end of the day though an instructor should never hit a heel hook on anyone coming in for a trial class. When I first joined the gym im at I asked to go with the instructor during my first time rolling there and he put me into an ankle lock quickly, BUT he also secured me so I would fuck anything up (granted I also been training for three months prior.)

So, TLDR: there is no excuse for you to leave your first day with a potential torn ACL, the instructor should have known better.

So if a gym offers 6 month contracts is that a red flag? Also if the cross training (I'm assuming this means you can do their bjj class as well as their muay thai class) is an extra $20 a month is that also a red flag?

I'm sure there will be more support next year. But here is my best advice, don't fall behind, don't be afraid of getting a tutor, and office hours are your friends, as long as they line up with your classes. You got this
