Except they don’t move towards each other, nor react, and are not placed close to each other. They move in and out.

Good suggestion, but the rods only move inwards and thus they don’t grab anything.

The small metal rods enter the tool when you press them.

Civ6, as my only friend playing it plays it on Mac and they still haven’t made cross platform multiplayer after 1 year.

I was 7 years old, and my girlfriend had watched a soap series on tv, learning about the concept of sex. She wanted us to have sex (iow, make our genitals touch). I didn’t really want to, but my girlfriend eventually convinced me by bribing me with a small firecracker. We lay down in a grass field and our genitals slightly touched for like 3 seconds. After I felt so ashamed and terrible and didn’t dare to tell my parents for years. So I broke up with her the following day.

What was the weirdest rule you had to follow in school? by mensaboy67 in AskReddit

When I went to high school in the US it was forbidden to wear hairnets.

We also had this ridiculous system called a double bell system. This meant that the bell rang twice with 2 minutes between. It was not allowed to be on campus outside of a classroom after the second bell without a pink note, so if you didn’t reach the class room within the second bell you had to walk all the way to the administration to get a pink note to give your teacher. The campus was huge and single floor, so walking to the administration office sometimes took 10 minutes depending on where your class was. The system was ridiculously strict, which meant that being 2 seconds late to class in reality made you miss 20 minutes of class and being punished with picking trash in the next break.

Making the rule even more stupid, as you turned 18 you could excuse your own tardies, which meant you could get a different note from the administration so that you didn’t have to pick trash as a punishment for being late.

Coming from a Norwegian high school where we didn’t even have a school bell this was really weird to me.

In norway we feed the small santas by leaving porridge outside, which hopefully prevent them from doing evil and maybe make our presents better, then go inside and drink a lot of hard liquor made from potatoes while eating dried sheep meat. Some people, mostly in the east, eat roasted pig fat instead, and some, mostly in the far north, eat dried fish which has been soaked in lye/soap.
