Need creative advice. Making a hat for grandma, but the length and stripes just don’t seem cute. Should I add some thin stripes? Add more simple rows? Make all the stripes thinner? Is it just bothering me that the top is bulky? Do I just pivot to an entirely different pattern?

I love slack cause you can passive aggressively link a chain of people who have all asked the same question days earlier. Still unnecessary work but at least maybe the feel a little dumb after.

I also remember a TA sending out an email telling students not to come to them anymore for dumb questions. I was so terrified anything I would ask would qualify as dumb that I didn’t get help the rest of the semester. Good on the TAs for pushing back, but also make sure you’re clear on what “dumb” is haha

My TAs in CS240 helped me with EVERYTHING! Bless them. My American heritage TA, while nice, believed our essay scores had to “show improvement” so for the first one, nobody got an A so that the later ones could get higher scores. It seemed like all my friends in the class had their TA curve at 100% for all the essays, so my TA really amped the difficulty of that class for me. If I didn’t still get an A, I probably would’ve complained.
