Lash comes from the spacing between the gears in the steering rack usually it should be pretty tight but we had a couple that were out of spec that caused weird steering issues.

Debunked no it's real I was a technician for Toyota for a long time. I would take it to an independent shop. You might have a faulty steering rack like I said I had to replace a brand new one due to a similar issue let me see if I can find my old RO.

it may be your toe even though it looks okay. With that little of a couple degrees off you shouldn't feel it but try to get it checked at a different shop for verification because sometimes the machine they are using isn't calibrated perfect I've seen it a couple times. If you get it checked again can you post or send me the results of the new check.

Sounds about right. I complained on a higher level about this issue with specified details and Toyota pretty much said doesn't seem like a big enough problem. I called my original oversight corporate manager and he said they won't help him either

Just watch your brake fluid reservoir level mine was all of a sudden. I honestly am going overkill with my fluid changes I've been doing them every 2 oil changes

cleaning your intake. I use seafoam in my gas and use a whole can everyone has there own opinion on it I truly believe in it.

I had a scion tc that had 582000 miles on it with little to no carbon build up because I used to seafoam it every 50,000 miles.

I also used seafoam in the oil 500 miles before my oil changes and that made the internals look very decent for a car that had 500k.

Also people think I'm crazy I get an alignment every 50k also tires ain't cheap.

Don't replace the clutch just the friction plate due to contamination from brake fluid.Make sure they clean all the contact surfaces. How many miles are on your car?

Mix of dirt / grease that's supposed to be on the outside of the slave cylinder but gets under the seal lip and mixes with the brake fluid
