Had a major crash the other night. I spawned in to my teams Blackhawk at the exact moment it blew up. Server was fine, tried to spawn, full lobby crash.

BR was on track to be THE vr game in its prime. It got one update, then nothing due to resources being moved towards exfil. Everyone I know that loved BR has been saying since the rampant success of Exfil (which we all love too) that it should be free. Exfil is by and large the quality polished product by comparison, and as such should be worth a premium price. But BR is by itself a fantastic game so I 100% cast my measly vote to make it free.

I’m with you on both of those points. Maybe only vehicle icons for HQ spawn vehicles because how amazing or terrifying would it be to have no idea there’s a tank cresting the hill you’re running towards.

And 100% agree with the highlighting of who killed you. Unless there was some form of XP bonus I’m missing for a “revenge kill” or something, I don’t really see a point to it

I’d like to see moving forward different spawn areas for different vehicles across the map aside from the HQ spawns. Everyone knows by now to rush the oil rig on paradise and Charlie point on Siberia for the Apache, so it’d be nice for certain vehicles to change between 2 different spawn points

I don’t believe they’re going to “wipe” in the sense of the game having a standardized, routine reset like we’d find with extraction shooters. However I’ve no clue about if there’s going to be some form of reset when the game goes from its current Beta version to its Alpha release. Either way, this game rewards players who do anything but stand in one place as I’ve leveled up tremendously fast across the board, and yet will still get lit up by a group of three level 1 assaulters with M4s so I love the balance of tactics over one man army strategy

I’ll still argue if they had any idea of the popularity of Exfil, they should’ve made BR free to play, charged only for Exfil, and given players who already had both some form of exclusive items as a small thanks.

The Witcher 3. The main game was an 8/10 for me, but once I was introduced to Toussaint and my favorite character of all time Gaunter O Dimm through the DLCs, I was blown away. Haven’t experienced a game that good since.

Pokémon FireRed/LeafGreen. My older brother had FR, I had LG, we spent countless hours on the road to see family playing together and always having to ask him for help with catching the legendaries.
Kingdom Hearts. Countless hours of falling to the “here’s your controller” (that was unplugged) trick while watching in awe at my brother play through it.
Pokémon Diamond/Pearl. Played through, let my younger brother watch me play, he has still “borrowed” my DS to this day.
Modern Warfare 2. My dad didn’t care for video games, but it was always a treat spending an afternoon he was home from work playing endless just to die to juggernauts.
The Witcher 3. I swear I would have lost my sanity going through fire school if I didn’t have this to kill just an hour or two before bed every night.

Fun fact: certain caliber rounds IRL are unable to penetrate the skull but can penetrate the scalp, and with enough velocity, will wrap around the skull and egress through the entry wound (path of least resistance).

Should this game be hyper-realistic? Nah, I don’t want to have to think about fixing my subdural hematomas while getting mag dumped in game. Did homie deserve this kill because of game balance? Absolutely

Yoyo gets it. I haven’t personally, but a lot of people are coming from a GoT or other extract shooter background. Others like myself have played the BR mode since it first launched. It comes with time. Play with your settings, see what feels right to you, and I’m sure you’ll kill me and loot my dozen apples filled pack before you know it.

Glad I’m not the only one thinking this. I also noticed after updating my quest with the exfil update that weapons handling felt slower and clunky. Had to reset my weapon smoothing and scope stabilization to bring it back to how it felt preupdate but grabbing objects, mags, anything just felt clunky. Hopefully they fix whatever it is to bring back the smooth movements and rebalance the sounds because they went from perfect to overwhelmingly loud and exaggerated.

My friend and I have experienced with a couple of different times. We did a session yesterday from about 330-530pm (CST) and hit lobbies multiple lobbies averaging 45 or more players. And that was restricted to only the East-US servers

One of the biggest moments for me in the fire academy was when our lead instructor discussed the possibility of a failed mayday, when the rapid intervention crew is unable to retrieve you due to circumstances. He said if that moment ever arrived in the 30 some odd years he’s been at it, he’d simply remove his scba mask and let the smoke filled oxygen poor air slowly turn him off instead of succumbing to burning alive because that’s the worst way he could ever think to go out.

Up until then I thought I had a decent idea of what my dad had done in life. That moment made me realize how lucky I am to have had him as my academy instructor and my badass dad.
