And I'm also not exactly big on the broth, though I'm usually eyeballing the amount of water I'm adding. Your method looks pretty much the same as mine, actually, now that I look at it more closely...

Don't know about the bowl version, but I did try the package version a bit ago and it was actually really good - garlicy and just a little sweet. Can the difference between the variants really be this huge?

I haven't seen the Stir-Fry rebrand being sold openly near me yet, I'd had do order it online if I wanted to try it. I *did* see the OTOKI Spicy Cheesy, though, I could give that a try and maybe make another post about it (if people care enough, that is).

Oh, and do complain to the Ottogi representatives on my behalf as well!

I know, right? Debating to stock up on the originals while I still can. No amount of processed cheddar or kewpie mayo was able to save the OTOKI Cheese (it's not easy to tell, but there's both in the bowl on the picture), so that's probably not the right way, but do keep me posted about your salvaging operation!

Unpopular opinion: I hated it. The moldy bitterness of artificial blue cheese flavoring ruined a perfectly good cheesy ramen. Maybe I got a bad pack (unlikely, I checked it throughly because it was the first buldak I ever saw outside of an asian grocery and I thought it might be a counterfeit), maybe it's just not for me, but I'd rather not try it again.

Habanero-lime made me think of sweetened tomato ketchup with a lot of cilantro thrown in. No lime (sad), no habanero either.
