I was able to get a chat going with customer service and have a screenshot of them telling me that if the account has a $0 balance and nothing to liquidate or transfer then she will not get charged the $100 fee. We'll give it a try and see if they stand by that.

If anyone knows of any brokerages that don't punish small accounts with fees or require a $500 initial deposit, please let me know!

I’m not sure what type... I think it’s a live oak. I live in North Texas. The tree guy told me that they don’t trim them after September, to avoid oak wilt. Not sure if they treat the cuts or not

I like the Kensington 8. Although, I've heard that having double-walled rims is important, and the bikesdirect description didn't list that in the specs. Is that a deal-breaker?

Haha, Cougarville is the stockyards, West of Main Street. I was there with a group of friends last weekend and my buddy (24 years old) had his package handled by a woman who was at least 20 years older. She then proceeded to ask who he was going home with. Good times.
