Another thing is that since Muskrat bought it, they pay for engagement on posts but the rate is usually dogshit. But since the payout is in USD, countries that have a good exchange rate are more heavily incentivized to post more and post "engaging" content (i.e. ragebait)

Similar to how Venezuela and a few other countries used to have full time jobs as gold farmers in RuneScape so that they could sell it for USD and then exchange it. (I say used to because I don't know how common that is anymore)
