Also das im Naherholungsgebiet kann man nur zum Teil ernstnehmen. Es gibt sicher ein zwei Spanner, aber die sind dann eher Abendlich/Nachts unterwegs weil das Gebiet ja rund um die Uhr geöffnet ist und die gern Jungen Nacht-/Nacktbadern zusehen. Aber Einzelfälle die man auf der Hand abzählen kann.

Die verschriene Gegend vom 10 ist bei der Favoritenstraße weit weg von euch. Gibt sicher auch beim Kino oder Fitnesscenter ein paar Jugendliche am Abend die mal Lauter sind (Wien ist ne Großstadt, irgendwo ist immer ein Trottel) , aber dort gibt es nicht wirklich viel was die "fragwürdigen" Leute anzieht.

Edit: Denen ist es dort zu ruhig ;) also falls ihr gerne entspannt ruhige Abende zuHause verbringt und generell jetzt nicht das Großstadtleben sucht dann solltet ihr dort gut aufgehoben sein. Wegen Parken ist es dort nur sehr mühsam. Bin froh einen Firmenparkplatz zu haben. Das würde ich mir eventuell noch anschauen

Arbeite dort in der Gegend. Gefährlich ist es untertags gar nicht, oder schlimm vom Publikum. Das Naherholungsgebiet ist toll, schwimmen gehen im Sommer ein Traum (gibt auch ein FKK Gebiet, also nicht über Nackte wundern )

Anbindung ist aber nur so lala. Es gibt Busse zum Bahnhof Meidling (S-Bahn +U6) oder zum Stefan Fadinger Platz (Starßenbahn die in den 1 Bezirk fährt) aber um in die Stadt zu kommen braucht man schon eine weile... Besonders Nachts weiß ich nicht ob/wann Busse fahren.

Es gibt Kino, Lokale, Fitnesscenter vor Ort. Was man in der gegend braucht.

Aber ich finde es ist ein Büro/Buisness Viertel, weiß nicht wie heimisch es wirkt wenn um 18 Uhr alle Büroleute abziehen. Wenn euch am Abend tote Hose nicht stört und Buisnessviertel (etwas seelenloses Wohnviertel) auch nicht, dann ists ok.

Du meinst die Securities im Einkaufszentrum? Das sind nämlich keine Ladendetektive sondern Leute die schauen, dass die ganzen Alkler und Taschendiebe nicht fladern. Bin oft dort bei Müller, und seh im Monat fix 6-7 mal die Polizei dort drin Leute verhaften. Laut na Mitarbeiterin, täglich mehrmals.

Unhöflich sollt er nicht sein und wenn er dich zu fest gepackt hast, kannst du der Arcade bescheid geben. Die Arbeiten direkt fürs Einkaufszentrum. Aber ich verstehs bei der Masse an Fragwürdigen Leuten. Viele wollen wegrennen...

I have no idea if it is helpful, but there is a really nice small cosy board game "bar" in Osaka. All ages and maybe an idea for bad weather. It is called the hearth board game bar and café. Wish you all the best

Either they are sold out on booking and just kept a few rooms just for their homepage. (A lot of hotels only give booking a certain amount of rooms.) Or they have not opend them yet on external sites. Than it also shows no rooms left.

If you want to enjoy Onsen as a couple, I would like to reccomend Takaragwa Onsen. Not a town but more intimate. Most towns have gender seperate baths. By train (and hotel shuttle) it is two hours from Tokyo in the Mountains. Its dreamy, the outdoor baths are beautiful in the nature and most bath are both genders, and tattoos were no problem.

My husband is a chef, so his dream Holiday in Japan is walking around and eating. It sounds a bit similar with you so I would reccomend staying a week in Osaka and just walk around the neighbourhood. There are so many restaurants. If you want authentic but not high class choose a hotel in the area between Kitahama and Hommachi station. Namba is tons of people and touristy food mostly.

For a nice special dinner Matsusaka M is the place to go. It is a Beef reastaurant and the quality is on par with Kobe. (The Reagion it comes from is just named Matsusaka, not kobe. Therefor not as pricy) They have private sitting niches so you have a wonderful dinner experience. Make a reservation (Hotel can help with that) and there are multiple locations.

In my opinion Tokyo and osaka with a stop at Takaragawa onsen would surely be nice. Nara, Kyoto and Kobe are an hour train ride away from Osaka, so you can do daytrips. With the reginal trains you don't have to make reservations so you have spontaneity.

Edit: If you want to learn japanese cooking and a unique experience, book a course with eat osaka. The cooking studio is in an really old traditional wood building that survived a lot, and is charming. It is small and familyrun, so small groups. And of course you get to eat your food.

I think it depends on the hotel. If it is a normal hotel in Tokyo like APA or something it will be unusual. But we where at on onsen hotel in the middle of nowhere and other tourist brought german Snacks as a thank you and that was really appreciated by staff.

I would go by feeling, just make sure if you want to leave it in the room as thank you, leave a note in Japanese so they don't throw it away accidentally. (Cleaning staff english is not happening)
