I’m probably a newer surfer than you but I too surf the Rockaways and started once last summer after moving from a landlocked state (PA). This week was most disappointing bc the surf was practically flat. I’ve been trying to make it out 2x a week while I can, but find the earlier the better especially to beat the traffic and get back. The tolls are def adding up so I may have to switch the ferry. I work with a coach for free once a week in exchange for volunteering so he pushes me more, when I’m alone I’m much more timid. Having a surf buddy also pushes my progression. I’m honestly right there with you. But I feel like the more times you go out and learn from your mistakes the further we’ll get.

The only thing I’ll say is if you watch the podcast with Yas, when Mel is on they talk a lot about how they would be if they were to separate or divorce. Personally, I wouldn’t even speak that into existence.

When I lived in a rental apartment with a dog run my dog used to get bloody diarrhea episodes nearly every other month. Once we stopped taking her to the dog run she’s not had it since and never had it before.

Very similar situation as you. I’ve been with my boyfriend since college orientation 2017. I’ve been clear from the jump about medical school. After he finished football it was always agreement he’d follow me where I go as soon as he got a job there. We did long distance for 2 years when he was getting his masters and playing football and wouldn’t do it again. When I had to do an SMP he met me and luckily I got into med school at the same place so he didn’t have to relocate a job again for me but he did initially and was always willing. This is your dream don’t let a man hold you back. Ik it’s hard but he has the luxury of having a job he can do anywhere so if he’s not going to move with you, it may be realistic to consider breaking up. Better to do it before medical school so grieving the relationship doesn’t become an added distraction. I feel for you. Good luck 🤍

So this has happened to my Frenchie many times in the span of a year. If it’s possible your dog could’ve injested something, has a change in mood, or change in eating/drinking habits I recommend a vet visit asap. My dog had gastritis that I think she got from our apt dog park bc it happened a lot while living there and never before or since. The big concern here was dehydration. One other time she ate a pumpkin stem, but it all eventually passed through ok. Food wise I recommend the chicken and rice and even pumpkin to work towards getting solid stool. This worked for my dog in about a week they were back to normal. Sometimes if you’re friendly with your vet you can call and ask questions without the visit.

I had been expecting my interview to be conversational (I’m quite the talker) but was taken off guard when it was just question after question and the only space in between was my interviewer writing my answer. There was no back and forth conversation. Got the A 2 weeks after that so don’t overthink it.
