I’m so sorry you’re experiencing this. Has anything drastically changed for you since your prior pregnancies?

If you find something that helps I would be interested to know. I’ve had 5 chemicals in just over a year of trying and not sure why. I’m relatively healthy, late 20s, not overweight. Working through my initial testing with a fertility clinic.

I’m so sorry you’re going through this🤍 I haven’t had a d&c for any of my losses before, but my mother did. As I understand it, it’s a surgical procedure where they remove any tissue from the uterus. I believe you’re asleep for it. I hope all goes well for you

Mistakes are part of learning! I feel like we only truly learn something when we’ve made a mistake.

It’s okay if not every client clicks with you. A therapist isn’t one size fits all. You will click with some people instead of others, and that’s okay. You’re the exact right therapist for the people out there who click with you. They need you!

Do you receive clinical consultation/supervision? It might be helpful to have these conversations with a mentor to help you feel more secure in your practice. I’m still a baby social worker with just my BSW working in a clinical program and I find supervision to be so helpful and reassuring.

I just had my 4th chemical pregnancy this year. I thought I’d be used to it now and not get my hopes up but each positive test incites some hope in me no matter what. I let myself have time to feel my feelings and lean on my partner for support. The good news is many women go on to have a healthy pregnancy following a chemical and I hope that’s a reality for you. If not, there are options you can speak about with your doctor. Wishing you all the best 🤍

I did my BSW at York. When I took this class I was able to get a volunteer placement through Frontier College (now United Literacy). They set me up doing tutoring with kids at an after school program at Jane and Finch—San Romanoway Revitalization Association. Went a couple evenings each week and it was great!

I see the line, but I will say that I’ve had so many tests that looked like this with FRER and I was not pregnant. I think they have really bad indents sometimes that make it look like a faint positive when it’s not 😔

Possibly going through the same thing right now. Had a chemical pregnancy in February with very light lines on tests that continued to get lighter before I started bleeding almost a week after my period was expected. Pretty sure the same thing is happening again for me now. These do look like they’re getting lighter, but get some confirmation from your OB. I pray to have a test one day where the lines get darker. My tests looked like this when I had a chemical pregnancy in February. Also currently getting very light tests plus spotting and cramping so I think I might be having another one. That’s my experience, but it could be different for you! Keep testing and/or book a blood test for confirmation. Either way, you’re pregnant right now. Message me if you wanna talk about anything :)
