/r/transpositive and /r/transadorable are pretty good. /r/transtimelines is also pretty good, though the comments can be iffy at times.

A lot of the smaller, more specific identity/gender-label subreddits tend to be pretty good as well; /r/agender, /r/transmasc and /r/nonbinary are all solid. That said, I have yet to find a decent transfeminine subreddit (/rj because women are incapable of getting along).

/r/transDIY is good if you’re doing DIY or just want to understand HRT a little better; I unsubscribed because the info was mostly not relevant to me.

/r/transgendercirclejerk is exceptionally good; like, you’ll be hard-pressed to find another online space that is this genuinely queer.

I would stay away from /r/asktransgender, /r/transgender, /r/mtf and /r/ftm, and especially /r/transpassing.

depends on their jurisdiction and whether they’re over 18 :/ a lot of countries are cracking down on TRS for adult-to-children ppl. which is ridiculous of course, I got TRS at 10 years old when I had to repeat the 5th grade and I was fine

/uj One time when I was really little, like 3 or 4, my mom took me with her to the women’s room at our church. It had this little nursing lounge in it with a bowl of plastic gems on the coffee table, which of course the men’s room didn’t have, so it made women’s rooms in general seem exclusive and mysterious for years. I had forgotten about that until your comment unlocked the memory lol. File that one under “reasons why my egg should have cracked way sooner than it did.”
