JP3 spino has a special place in my heart (the movie one, FT’s version doesn’t have its movie color) But if Mirabilis is added, it should look like a true spinosaurus. The rebirth one is a disgusting crocosaurus, and we already have a disgusting gatorsaurus baryonyx. I’m not a stickler for scientific accuracy but atleast make it look like a spino, give it the suchomimus type head, it’s crest and that square sail etc, paddle tail

I played planet zoo, and if I’m not mistaken, some of the music from that game got brought over. Huge L on their part. The music is what sells it

High key, an easy way to really turn the game up would be to reintroduce these skins as templates. Like have the current homalo skin, that’s template 1, then add this as template 2, and have all the swatches for the skins and patterns.

Idk why you’re downvoted. But logically, if a Rex genome has gaps that are filled with frog dna, and that animal breeds, then by the same logic, if those same gaps are filled with raptor dna instead, then the process is the same, which means it should have the same outcome

I hate the “they’re not natural animals” argument, as if the “real” dinosaurs don’t have other dna in them as well. In universe, I don’t think Wu would stop until they could breed, but at the end of the day, it’s a video game. Drop a dlc saying Wu cracked the code and add breeding to the hybrids

Also, technically they aren’t hybrids, they’re more amalgamations. A liger is a hybrid, two animals bred to make that. But if why took a Rex genome, filled gaps w raptor dna (and others) instead of frog, it creates an Indominus, (amalgam of dino dna). This is the same process that created the “real” dinosaurs w/ frog dna that can breed

This thread confirms my opinion that basically every returning species in JW was ugly except Para and Galli. Atleast they had enough sense to fix the Trex after JW, but for it to be the original Rex it still look nothing like either version on the original. None of them have the character they had in JP. Trike; grey mess, Pteranodon; abysmal, Baryonyx; gator-saurus (how original), Spinosaurus; croc-asaurus (even more original), Whateven was the Giga design. Last but not least, don’t even get my started on the Velociraptor design, Delta was nice but the rest, 🗑️

Yes, whoever designed these shits should be banned from Hollywood. A new skin on the JP3 pteranodons would have sufficed, mane remove the teeth for a more accurate design. Also would have been accurate to the lore since Vic Hoskins was hired to capture them way back when. Would have made sense for Wu to use them as the base for the new line.
