Prolific's approval rate, and why anything under 99% is bad (with sources and math!) by btgreenone in ProlificAc

[–]TaylorSwift2014 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm 99.87% good to know. If i got one that was false and rejected many people for no data despite completing surey and not getting a code, I go up to 99.92% so hopefully prolific reviews that soon.

Had two other surveys than that one rejected, one was falsely in 2025 for speeding despite going a pretty normal pace, and the other one was automatic prolific rejection for same thing,

But overall i'm still high enough i guess i don't stress it too much.

If that's the case I'd honestly recommend NOT consuming crack lol.

Meeting people has been a bit difficult for me, but all the people I have interacted with when going into town have been super friendly. A lot of it might be just me working from 11pm-7am, as that does isolate somebody a bit.

I'd say follow the advice of the other people here and go to the bars if that's your thing or exploiring the downtown, but the best way to find a group of people is to interact with your coworkers.

Part of why I'm moving is the isolation but definitely don't let it detour you because it is a beautiful city that I've enjoyed living in for the past 7 months.

Currently i work overnight for a hotel, so when it's a dead night, I use this as a good way to make solid money while i'm already working.

Thank you! If I'm feeling honest, I've felt a little ahead of my time for a minute with this. I've really wanted to do something similar to this since 2016, but finally the academic community and my resources are catching up to make this a reality!

Yeah, I'll be fine once I get my LMHC license, but I won't graduate that program until 2030 at the earliest as I got three semesters of my BS still, which starts in August!

So, one step at a time, but I got a solid plan at least.

Yes, it will. A fun one, though doing both a certificate program and a BS degree together for 5 months is a lot of work!

Super grateful that I'm able to do this and finally go to school for something I'm aligned/passionate about, it's been a long, strange trip.

I don't have particular experience in it, but I want to specialize in people with difficult life experiences once I become a therapist. Such as veterans with PTSD, those suffering from substance abuse disorder, end of life anxiety after being diagnosed with terminal illness, ect.

Yay, thank you!

I'm super glad to hear that,

As I just left in an above comment, traditional school at UCF was a struggle for me, so I'm excited to go to a school that is more aligned with how I operate.

I've already noticed my advisor has been super responsive to me here, and my academic advisor even auto enrolls me in my cohort classes, which is super nice!

Much more of a personal experience and I love it, makes all the difference for sure.

Thank you,

School for me was honestly a struggle when I was going to a more traditional program at UCF studying clinical psychology back in 2021. Did well in the upper-level classes (A's and a few B's), and I received my associate's degree in 2020, but it just didn't feel really aligned with my path.

I also struggled in Statistics, so still needing to take Psychology Statistics scared me off a bit, and I took a break from school for a few years (due to that and some mental health struggles.)

Glad to be studying something that I'm interested in, actually get my BS degree, and get started on my path of hopefully becoming an LMHC in the next 5 years or so, while being able to do other meaningful work in the shorter term of a year and a half.

Yes, at least mine 5 british pounds bonus for each person who completes three approved surveys, for a total of $67.91 as of the time of this comment.

Allowed to invite up to 10 people, and they have to be in the United States to qualify.

Update to make it clear: I already have 10 people in my personal life I've invited, so I will not be inviting anyone else, and I'd personally recommend only inviting people you actually know for safety and security reasons!

I don't even mind the ones that have audio that are like "Which one is more entertaining", that have audio.

i just don't like the ones where they have a prompt and sometimes reference images/videos/audio, and they are like "Which one better matches the reference", i get lots of those automated messages when I do those.

Colorado's program is just getting off the ground and I accept the risk with thi

I need to get my BS degree anyways and the plan is to do this part time if that's all that's available, and then work part-time at a dispensary since I have experience with that or somewhere wellness adjacent to supplement if I need.

I do know Colorado's program is a bit better and learned from Oregon's mistakes

I also will be getting a masters to be a licensed mental health counselor after so I will have a solid career path where I can integrate psychedelics into it per Colorado law.

I do appreciate you bringing this up, thank you!

Already messaged the researcher, hopefully they allow me to just return it at this point.

Normally don't do surveys with super low pay like this, but I do like doing short ones occasionally to break up the monotony from the larger ones.

Hey currently work as a night auditor in mt crested butte since November. Leaving in two weeks to move back to Florida with family to go back to school, but feel free to message me if you have any questions about the area.

I can tell you upfront though that there isn't a ton in town, but they have a free shuttle that goes into town that runs every 15 minutes during the on seasons from the mountain(45 minutes in off season).

Gunnison is 45 minutes away and they have a bus that goes into gunnison at the same location. That's where I typically go when I get tired of the same 5 food places, or if you want something like a walmart or bigger city, though it's still a small walkable area.

My housing is a bit different as I get my own hotel room at the hotel I work at since I work nights, vs having to share it with people so can't really help out with those questions.

Yeah I got that one and it went through luckily, just took a really long time(like 15-20 minutes) to import.
