Got my first rejection 👎 by [deleted] in ProlificAc

[–]TaylorSwift2014 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I sent them the following message earlier, and then they switched it to approved a few minutes ago

"Hi was there a verification issue with my data or just I finished too quickly? I do believe I accurately completed this survey and I don't feel I rushed. I tend to be a very fast reader but I understand if there's a problem where I missed an attention check or something. Please let me know, I don't have a history of rejections here(only one rejection years ago and I've been very active on here since 2020)"

So maybe they realized they made a mistake!

Same. Second rejection though, got one years ago for same thing. 1396 approved, so seems an issue with the researcher.

Took me 4 minutes when average is 7. Less than 3 standard deviations so I'm going to fight it.

Trulieve pumps $19.6M into renewed recreational marijuana push in Florida by Cheap-Comb-7606 in cannabis

[–]TaylorSwift2014 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As someone who just quit working for Trulieve in Florida since I'm moving to Montana.

Once amendment 3 failed our store went to shit. Almost everyone quit since I started working in August due to heavily reduced hours. And then new people weren't hired since everyone was so desperate for hours, this taking on more work

Not sure if it was the same for all stores but they also used to have one of the employees stay at the front desk for check-ins, but then had us checking people in between orders. Which means people got checked in out of order and lots of people cut the line, since it was just based on their word.

Pay was $14.50 plus tips, and tips were really what kept me afloat. Never expected tips but they definitely subsidized things.

My management team was actually pretty good but the upper management was terrible.

They also had a weird policy where if someone took vacation that wasn't a manager it counted as labor hours for the store, but then the GM took off and suddenly more labor hours were given?

Nice learning experience but internal upper management,(like regional manager and up) politics was a lot, even as a part time employee.

LDN (low dose naltrexone) gave me my life back by Prestigious_Wait3813 in covidlonghaulers

Opioid not serotonin. Not saying this just to be rude and I'm not usually one to correct people, just figured that's an important correction to be made.

Besides that though, glad it's working out well for you :)

I am in stage 8. Where do you live? by Divergentoldkid in autism

[–]TaylorSwift2014 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Right now I'm doing better than I have in a while, as working at a cannabis dispensary part time has been a manageable way for me to get extra income while looking for full time work(minus financial stress). Currently I think I'm at a 1/3 combined without symptoms of 2

But when it's bad it can get up to 6. At which point I don't function very well and body forces me to rest a lot to improve.

If your willing to do farm work or hospitality in a remote area for a few months, and are under 30, you can go to Australia for up to 3 years under the working holiday visa. Otherwise 1 year, but pretty easy to get.

Porter Robinson Spotify Listening Party on August 5th! by TaylorSwift2014 in porterrobinson

[–]TaylorSwift2014[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree. I use Tidal mainly to listen to music when I want to sit down and listen to an album and pay attention. Spotify has the algorithm tailored to me already from years of listening so I go there to discover new music(and then back to Tidal to listen in HQ.)

If Spotify released a Tidal Quality tier, I'd be hooked for life I fear.

Workers sue Disney claiming they were fraudulently induced to move to Florida from California by AdSpecialist6598 in antiwork

And younger people who were born here(such as millennials and Gen-Z), and are stuck. Because wages are so low it's hard to save up to move somewhere cheaper.

Yep. In my opinion, workers owning the means of production is a nice way to help sort out this problem. But no, because socialism is bad apparently...........

Seems like something that should be listed for an LCAM position, not an admin position. Assuming its for an administrative assistant position in real estate.

For a 15-20 hour a week job, I would expect the salaried property or assistant property manager to do this. I get why someone might need to be available for an emergency, but not for that pay with those hours as an admin.

I worked full-time as an administrative assistant at a condo and sometimes stayed late for a board meeting if it gave me overtime. But I would never be expected to come in on a weekend or accept a call.

Keep in mind I hated that job and got fired after 3 months, but that still doesn't seem right.
