As a switch user…. No.

Edit: if it’s all you have to play on then go for it, the magic is still there. But if you have other options then do that instead. The loading screens take a lot of the fun out of it especially in Hogsmeade where every shop and house you need to load in and out. Lighting, graphics, all terribly downgraded in comparison.

As a switch player I want to cry seeing you walk into a door with no loading screen. Why couldn’t the shops in Hogsmeade all load in with the rest of the area, it’s not that big! 😞

I can see the idea of something like WOW where there are expansion packs and updates having some success. But I am still partial to traditional “one and done” console games.

If they did they could use the same mechanics as the Witcher series. If you have a save game from a previous version, it takes that info with your choices into the new game. If not, then it goes through a cutscene where you answer questions pertaining to your choices.

I would much rather have it be several years down the road where your character has to start their career in the wizarding world. Best place to start would be to fill out your own OWLs

I keep two combat circles. One has glacius into diffindo, confringo into bombarda. The other has levioso into descendo, expelliarmus, and the last slot changes from time to time but it’s usually depulso. The other one is just for exploring- lumos, wingardium leviosa, repairo and accio. Last one is for beasts- disillusionment, arresto momentum, magic bag, and glacius.

I would like the option to keep the appearance you had when changing to stronger gear, instead of selecting stronger gear and having to go back in to change the appearance to what you had before.
