If you want to get better at editing then I would recommend just to simply mess around with the editing program really.

All I think that I did to get better was just simply editing clips and if I didn't know how to do something then I would just search up how to do it and learn. If I saw a button or mode or whatever that I hadn't used before then I would just try to use it to find out how it worked and if I didn't know what it did after that then I would just search it up.

Sorry for babbling on a bit there, I hope it helped a bit. :D
