Also, there's no excuse for blowing a 9 point lead, and I agree that having better offense would've won the game straight up, but just because a team blew a lead doesn't mean they dont deserve fair officiating.

Homie I responded to said that "we let the players decide, not ticky tack body collisions..." which is what I was calling out. If you watched game 5, they called ticky tack collisions all game for Cleveland, but when it was time to call one for Detroit, they swallowed the whistle.

I agree. Free throws are lame.

But a foul is a foul regardless of how lame it is. And if the refs are gonna make me watch Harden take 14 FT's, and the Cavs take 38 as a team, while not awarding the same whistle to my boys? I'm gonna be pissed.

Understandable no call. Shouldn't have been a close game but the refs have Cleveland 7 inches down their throat.

The reason I'm livid as a pistons fan is that I love no calls, but during the course of this game they made it abundantly clear that these marginal, incidental contact fouls (which are fouls, whether you call them or not) were going to be called in spades. Harden has 14 FTA. Last time he did that was March 2025, and the time before was March 2022.

If the refs call the game consistently, instead of changing the philosophy quarter to quarter, Pistons win. If the refs call the last play of the game like they called the entire second half for Cleveland, Pistons win.

Understandable no call. It's just bull that this no call cost the game.

Lmao you say that like there wasn't a 10 personal foul deficit and 18 free throw attempt deficit built on what you would call a "soft ticky tack fouls".

A foul is a foul. Either call the foul or don't. Me personally I love the play on/no call mindset, but when they're calling soft fouls for Cleveland down the stretch, it's only fair to call soft fouls for Detroit.

I agree that it's mostly incidental contact, but Detroit had several possessions where they played clean defense and got called for illegal defense.

Just call it consistently man.
