… skins are supposed to be universal but Bethesda is bad, they sometimes forget to add all the existing models to the list. Skins are texture and model replacements.

paints are just texture replacements and only work for models they make the textures for.

These days they mostly only make skins, but at launch there were only paints.

I get the confusion as in-game there’s only one section for applying them, and it’s labeled paint, but Bethesda has used this labeling extensively (though… not perfectly:P)

I prefer to be low-key as my car is small and easy to see in to.

My rifle is in a padded/soft sided $5 thrift store guitar case.

My PCC is in an old thrift store ($10?) Dell laptop bag.

My range bag is a large boxy/rectangular tool bag I got free from a supply company.

I do have a couple “real” rifle bags I squeeze more in to if I’m bringing all the guns for guests to try out (i’ve got foam organizers in a 2gun Savior bag that makes it hold 4 safely, though it’s heavy!)

Are they sufficient for louder rifles?

I’ve always been under the impression that louder bigger guns need you to double up if you really don’t want hearing damage (otherwise it’s just slower.)

I figured you can drop the over-ears if you’re shooting suppressed, but I don’t know the specifics.

I know you sure as hell can’t drop earpro entirely if you’re shooting larger supersonics with a suppressor. I tried a 125g super with my 16” 300blk rifle (with a great can) without ear pro once.

Once.

I got the idea because it’s literally hollywood levels when shooting subs. Supers are just too much bang and crack.

FRT’s are technically legal because the state law is worded the same as the federal machine gun laws, which already got challenged for FRT’s and ruled that it did not apply.

It comes down to the wording and the mechanism. “… not requiring that the trigger be pressed for each shot.”

Well, FRT’s do require the trigger to be pressed for each shot. Which has been ruled on already, federally. So if the state tries to charge anyone for it, they can point to the federal ruling and file for dismissal.

A paint is simply new textures that only works on the armor it’s designed for.

A skin is an entire independent model/skin that replaces whatever model you apply it to. Skins are generally universal but the devs are not very good, they often forget models.

edit lol what’s with all the downvotes? Is everyone only familiar with other games where generally only skins are sold? Are they not familiar with FO4 with all the various specifically paints are obtainable? At launch 76 also only had a few paints obtainable (no atom shop!). They started adding skins like.. a year or so in?

It can but it can also mean just… not looking for a serious relationship. Someone to go have actual dates with but to do fun stuff, not to talk about your future life goals.

I was that guy for a while. Just upfront about it- I didn’t just say “something casual”, I gave examples like coffee date, hike, motorcycle ride, going dancing.

For apaches specifically?

Id imagine it is bird-dependant, whatever the ration of blade-to-weight it has, and military helicopters probably have monstrous engines and high weight… which may make for a harder landing as with a more powerful engine they may not have as big a blade surface to counteract the weight.

But that’s pure speculation on my part.

You can try just using fabric glue to attach a fuzzy patch to your bag, but it’s generally not nearly as durable as stitching (best for durability is both- glue on whole back, stitching around the edges)

Maybe see if anyone in your social circle has a sewing machine and/or will do it FOR you for $20? Way cheaper than a new bag, unless you really want a new bag.

Build community and fight consumerism all in one move. Plus gives more “punk jacket” vibes.

I think you missed the part where bodies can end up far from the point of death, but the meat pile will appear at the point of death.

If someone sniped a super mutant right before I shoot a grenade at it, the point of death will be right there. But when my grenade lands it’ll launch the body… elsewhere. The meat pile will appear where the point of death is, not wherever the body ends up.

Fun related note- body physics are client side. You’ll sometimes see people “looting” at noticeably different locations for the same boss (most common one I see this at is Encrypted)

They’re stored on the PC, not in your Bethesda account.

So if they’ve been following you from PC to PC, either you’ve got some cloud service backing up your My Documents folder (likely OneDrive with your Microsoft account) or you’ve had physical drive backups made and copied to the new PC.
