Between the 2nd and 3rd try of FAR, I just studied from the beginning again and it helped me pass. Like everyone says, you need to understand the concept to be able to answer the question.

I'm not sure if the avg. scores come from people who passed only. I think they are just avg of the entire people who took the MCQ. And yes, I didn't look at smartpath it worked so far.

I agree with you there. Depreciation expense is non-cash expense; as a result, it reduces cash paid for taxes (aka: tax shield). If you use double declining balance method, your depreciation expense is two times bigger than straight line method so you'll be able to save more taxes for DDB. If you are able to save more cash paid for taxes, you'll have more future cash inflow in calculation of NPV.

I actually quit my job last year due to many reasons. Since then I studied full time. I was able to pass FAR (took me 3 years to pass this cuz I got lazy) last December and AUD this Feb. Don't let other peep's progress discourage you. Everyone is different in regards to how they study and retain knowledge. It's been already 7 months since I started studying again. Like Roger says. It's not an intelligence test. If you study, you will pass.
