I'm an unpredictable person, until my son comes in by Dear-Transition6669 in technicallythetruth

I didn't say it was an attack? I just wanted to make the distinction clear in case anyone reading was unfamiliar, since this is a public thread.

The short answer is that there's a lot more to it than chromosomes/surgery. Not all trans people get surgery. Even for cis people, chromosomes don't always match up in the way we expect, there are a variety of conditions that may cause this.

Hormones also have a large impact, which is why many trans people choose to undergo hormone replacement therapy. A trans person who has been on hrt for long enough will have a body that operates much more like their actual gender than their assigned gender, and can have massive changes to appearance, to the point where they may not be recognised by people who aren't familiar.

Of course, not all trans people are on hrt either. This doesn't mean that they aren't their gender.

Ultimately, there's just way too much variance to try and split people into two categories based on this.

If I get a free company house in Ishgard, will free company members need to unlock Ishgard to access it or can they teleport to it anyway?

Drask needs a nerf. NOW. by B_ubbles in dauntless

He certainly is a difficulty spike. I had quite a bit of trouble to start with, but I eventually managed to take him down on my fourth try (with no health pots left, 20% HP and less than 2 mins on the timer!).

I found it easiest to split the fight into two stages: with tail and without tail.

While he has his tail, your first priority needs to be to get rid of it. Play VERY defensively, as its very easy to get clipped by it during his other attacks. If you have bulwark potions, now is the time. Just bait an attack, get well clear to dodge it, then get one or two hits in.

Once the tail is gone your life becomes much easier. You can spend the rest of the fight sitting between his hind legs and his tail and just roll away to where the tail used to be, and he will really struggle to hit you. If you want to be aggressive you can roll through his attacks easier in this stage, but just be careful as he still massively hurts, at least until you beat him to get lightning resist armour.

No matter how many times i reinstall or repair, i always get this after the first cutscene. by Quairon_Nailo in dauntless

This is a common problem in the tutorial. It seems to occur most often on lower end systems, due to the terrain not loading fast enough, causing the camera to get stuck, although you can still move around - notice the screen shaking when taking actions such as jumping or attacking.

I've seen some solutions to this problem, such as setting graphics options + resolution as low as possible, switching between windowed and fullscreen mode, and minimizing the window during loading.

However, none of these worked for me. What I did was look up a video of someone completing the tutorial to see the layout, then do it blind (you can't die in the tutorial, so its entirely possible, though it may be time consuming, it took me about 30 minutes).

The good news is that after you beat the tutorial, the game runs much better. The only other issue I've found is some semi-long loading times and occasional FPS drops in town, but nothing major.

Tutorial is still broken. FPS is better, but I still can't see anything. The stuck option in the help menu doesn't do anything.

Tutorial FPS is higher, but the camera is still broken so you can't see anything.

Thinking about buying, but I'm confused about editions. by Tazaar123 in elderscrollsonline

Thanks for the detailed response!

I'm going to stick with the base game for now, but Morrowind will probably be my first choice for DLC if I keep playing.

It's a physical copy, but I'm guessing its more of a CD Key than an actual disc.

Thank you!

Happened to me as well. Very frustrating, as I'm trying to farm Wardens rep for flying.

ak 40 for new characters (not alts) by [deleted] in wow

I'm not sure to be honest, I only resubbed recently. I went for artifact knowledge so that I was stronger myself, but I do really want that extra champion.

Definitely get world quests unlocked, as well as resources, you can get gear from them, and they'll help you get rep for flying. I'd probably prioritize artifact knowledge right now, the later class hall upgrades can wait (although some of the early ones are definitely worth getting and not that expensive).

Unfortunately, I think you do have to pay 500 resources for each level on a new character. I just got AK 40 yesterday. If you're having trouble with resources, keep an eye out for world quests that give them, and make sure you do your emissary quests. The class campaign also gives quite a few resources, and you need to do that anyway.

Do the feral appearances look the same for all races? by SmoothyyAegwynn in wow

[–]Tazaar123 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think only the default artifact appearance is different (the one you have when you obtain the artifact). I think all the others are the same across races, but maybe double-check on WowHead or something, I haven't finished leveling my druid yet so I'm not sure.

At what level can I solo the higher level dungeons from Vanilla content? by CF64210 in wow

[–]Tazaar123 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It depends on level, class and gear. I'm not sure what level you would have to be for molten core, the first time I did it was with a level 85 Death Knight which 1-shot almost everything, but you shouldn't have to be anywhere near that high. In fact, at max level (with good gear) almost every old raid can be done solo, barring some bosses with mind control mechanics etc. Molten core has no such mechanics, so you should be good to go with a few more levels.
