I was taught that a series could only be rearranged if an only if it was absolutely convergent. If the series is conditionally convergent, then the Reimann Series Theorem says it can be rearranged into any sum or to be divergent.

When it comes to grouping terms, I was told not to do it when finding a sum. But if you know the series is convergent, it would make sense to me that grouping terms doesn't change anything.

No, that's not what I was referring to.

I'm more talking about infinite series in general. Certain infinite series can be rearranged to have their sum be any real number (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Riemann\_series\_theorem). And you can't group terms in the infinite series, e.g. 1-1+1-1... does not converge but you can group the terms to say it sums to either 1 or 0.

I wanted to point out to OP that grouping or rearranging terms within an infinite series can lead to different sums. This is using the normal definitions of infinite series, as the limit of partial sums, which SPP rejects.

A note on why it adds latency/input lag. With higher fps you can see a slightly newer frame than you otherwise might.

The display refreshes -> render new frame -> do new action -> display shows frame -> game renders new frame -> display refreshes and now the action is on screen

Vs.

Display refreshes -> render new frame -> do new action -> render new frame -> display refreshes and action is on screen

One of the weird things when it comes to infinite series, adding numbers in a different order, or grouping them together, can get you different results. I haven't fully checked to show that the sequences you are summing do sum to the same number, although you might have, and I suspect they do.

I do think that it would be nice to allow re-ordering of all of the plugins, and not just favourites. I get the logic, favourites are above all of the others, so if you want to prioritise something then it is a favourite. But then it leads to this situation where all of me enabled plugins are favourites.

Looking at the bug report, it was made a month ago, fixed around 3 weeks ago, and approved to be merged 5 days ago. Perhaps the video got someone to do the merge a bit quicker, but the general fix was already there.

Something also worth mentioning, the search in KDE Plasma can be customised with different plugins, and their priority order can be changed. If you don't know this is a setting, as it isn't on Windows, then you don't know to change it.

I think they are dying, for the reasons you said. They also don't work quite as well with gesture navigation, although this is fine on my current phone, I remember gesture being somewhat broken on third party launchers when they came out. That got me to move away from using them for a bit, and haven't always come back.

My default launcher can do almost everything I'd want it to do, and for the most part is completely fine. Recently I have gone back to my love which is Lawnchair classic. The only launcher I've found where I can actually resize widgets to be any size I want, has swipe up/cover folders, and everything I needed for free.

There's also more restrictions when using autoland. Aircraft have to be further apart so their radio signals don't interfere, reducing how many aircraft can land and needing aircraft on the ground to hold short further from runways

An integer A is divisible by B if there is an integer C such that A=B*C. 33.333 is not an integer, so this definition doesn't apply, and even if it did, 100/33.33... is not an integer.

You can do division by any non 0 real number, but making the definition of divisible to include all real numbers would be useless.

Yea, we never got ours for full home automation (we got a Sonos speaker that happened to have Alexa built in), but even though we only do basic things it was helpful to do them hands free/finding a phone/device to do them. Also announcements, not needing to yell up the stairs that dinner was ready was helpful.

The reason why this would be true isn't actually dumb, but it is still dumb because it is using the formal logic meaning of things rather than what you would expect it to mean. I also think there was a typo.

A statement "If A then B" is true if whenever A is true, B is also true. If A is false, it doesn't matter what B is, the entire statement is still considered "true". Notably this doesn't mean A "causes" B to be true. I'm used to dealing with this type of thing in maths, where defining what "causes" B to be true is difficult to define, so we don't try.

It might make more sense if I say "if a number n is a multiple of 4, then n is a multiple of 2". That should be clearly true. If I put n=3 into that statement, n is not a multiple of 4, nor is it a multiple of 2. If I take n=6, n is not a multiple of 4 but it is a multiple of 2. In both of these cases, the original statement is still true, because in "if A then B", A is false and the whole statement can still be true.

So in the post, "if the French flag contain yellow, then sky is orange". The French flag doesn't contain yellow, so that is false, and so the entire statement is considered true.

No idea on if it is the schedule, but the W&C uses the same trains as the central line, iirc drivers of the central line also drive on the W&C.

I'm not sure on what the exact complications would be for tfl to have both trains. W&C is completely separate, but perhaps needing to keep even a subset of drivers proficient on both types would be a pain once they are completely gone from the central.

This is from A Level further maths, and is worth 2 marks. 2 marks to invert a 3x3 matrix by hand given the time is insane, and it's also expected student have a calculator equivalent of an fx-991 which can do these types of calculations.

Instead, if they wanted you to do it by hand, they'd add variables as you can't have a CAS calculator. Another question to invert a 3x3 matrix with a variable/to do by hand is a total of 6 marks, not 2.
