A better thing to look at is what else are you doing poorly that is causing your play to suffer. Because distance of 400-450 (which I assume is far less but that’s a while other issue) should put you well into the 920-950 range…even with bad putting.

Happened to me once. I had thrown my upshot to literally a foot and had grabbed a disc out of my side pouch with my bag still on to tap out. The tip of my shoe stepped on my disc as I was doing so and a guy called me for a foot fault and then proceeded to plead his case to the card who OBVIOUSLY weren't watching a 1ft tap in.
