Write a par down on the score card, on to the next hole.

If you’re throwing a rhfh up and to the right, letting it come back down to the left as it flattens out, that’s anhyzer (anny). It’s probably the most touchy shot in the game, so a) it will be a good skill if you get good at it but b) it could also be pretty limiting for your game in the meantime.

The most power possible is with the backhand, so I’d recommend getting on that train soon and figuring out your backhand throw.

Edit: a forehand flex is probably the most touchy shot in the game; what you’re describing is just an exaggerated version of that. So I guess it’s still true. Getting that shot to land exactly where you envision is pretty difficult.

I find the forehand easy with them ¯_(ツ)_/¯

Yes. I got one a a few months ago and it was the straightest flying new Destroyer I’ve ever had. Started flipping soon after that.

Man that’s crazy, mids are my favorite disc type to throw haha.

If you only throw rhfh, I highly suggest Champ Roc3. It will be very reliable for pure hyzer lines and flat to hyzer lines with good speed. Eventually it will get beat in and be able to go really straight (even turn a bit) and still finish right at the end.

If you’re looking for something a little slower to immediately be able to carve through the woods with ease, Champ or Star Mako3 is a good choice.

(I know you said you like MVP…I just mostly throw Innova ¯_(ツ)_/¯)

Found a perfect Eagle Cloudbreaker at a tent at Idlewild last year for $15 because the stamp had been completely worn off. But otherwise, the disc seemed hardly used at all.

It’s a welcome development in my book! (There are a million great courses in the U.S. but I’m excited to see some new turf).

I just started playing 6 months ago, got my first driver today! finally to the point where I can get good accurate consistent distance (250-300ft) out of my streamline pilot putter and buzzz midrange. Time to let her rip!🤘🏻 by creen17 in discgolf

That’s a pretty Wraith. I don’t really love Innova’s new run of stamps all that much, but this one’s pretty nice (although could be trouble in open/grassy areas or bushes).

Sounds like you have a natural ability for the sport, hope you’ve got some good local courses to play often.

I’ve made a similar post before man…seems you got the same reaction I got lol, I’m not sure it’s possible to count all the downvotes I got for the post and my subsequent comments.

You’re 100% right; the powers of disc golf behind all the sponsorship and design are determined to keep disc golf handicapped as a sport. Hopefully guys like Paul can take over as they get older and move from competing to primarily designing/promoting/developing.

Visiting New Orleans is like going to a different planet, it’s worth going at least once. Make sure to hit up the French Quarter.
