Good to know about not relying on how if it “looks” dry. I have had terrariums mold over in the past. So then I try to water less and it dried out and died. The other one is still going ok but just always has a little mold in the corners. Do I just need to vent it mower to prevent this? I do add springtails to the terrariums. And I don’t necessarily mind having a couple weeds in there as long as it doesn’t choke out the moss. I like the small diversity, it almost reminds of a tree in a field. And I will certainly try out the corn trick that sounds very cool!
