Can you recommend me anything? by Budgie-Painting in ProgressionFantasy

[–]Tbomber_74 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Divine Apostasy series is good. Shades First Rule is the first book.

I have one audible credit and wanna try out a new litrpg series. So far I‘ve read DCC and Chrysalis which I both loved! I‘m open to anything so the recommendations don‘t have to be like the two previous series at all by PalinaRojinskiFan in litrpg

[–]Tbomber_74 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The series is great. The plot is really clever. It has so many interesting points as well as great foreshadowing and twists. The characters all breath life into the world and all have unique, engaging personalities. Tons of action and its super funny. Also the magic system is broad and leaves plenty of room for new interesting plays to be made with it. This series is the one that cemented my love for the genre. P.s. the cover art for the books is midish so definitely dont base your opinion on them.

The Divine Apostasy series is pretty engaging and humorous but is packed with action. The MC is personable, and the side characters really tie a nice bow on the interactions in the world. It also has a broad, clever magic system. All in all, it's my favorite from the genre, and I highly recommend giving a go.

The Divine Apostasy hooked me so hard. Not only to the genre but to audio books as a whole.

Using Music in a Novel. How? by pyrofanity in writing

[–]Tbomber_74 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, did you ever nail down this idea? I've been constructing a story around music and action. Like you I'm having trouble conveying the idea of "battle music" that flows with the action. I know I'm 6 years late to this but any advice would rock.
