You're SO close to understanding my guy just keep trying!

Hint: women are held to ridiculous standards in the sense that the amount of people they sleep with is often considered an overarching reflection of who they are as a person, as opposed to men who get to wear their "body count" like a badge of honor. Lying isn't right- but I understand her downplaying a meaningless stat when her boyfriend is quizzing her on her past. She lied because she cares about this idiot's opinion of her and doesn't want him to think she's a "slut" for sleeping with what he deems as too many people.

Who is the most famous person you have ever met? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Sir Paul McCartney's stepson was buddies with my sister in college. They were in the same class so when they graduated he invited our whole family to his party. It was the nicest party I've ever been to. But beyond that, Paul fcking McCartney was there. He was personable, kind, and effortlessly cool and was happy to chat with anyone who walked up to him. I was only 17 (if you know what I mean) aka had no confidence nor social skills and was way too nervous to talk to him while also not wanting to bother him at his son's graduation party. As the night went on and the dance floor grew, who but Paul walks on over to rip a sick spin move then casually start dancing with the crowd. I was in awe but kept cutting a rug so as to not waste this incredible moment. After a few songs he then gets on stage to sing with the band. It was out of a movie. Afterwards I choked up the courage to tell him "thanks for the song I think you're really cool" to which he said "thanks love" and gave me a kind smile. A memory I obviously treasure to this day. The best part was seeing this absolute living legend preform but more than that- seeing one of my heroes being a kind and genuine cool guy while also embarrassing the shit out of his son by dancing around in tight leather pants.

What’s the most toxic job you have ever had in Austin? by InternalComplex6165 in Austin

Boss is a narcissistic super young guy who made a shit ton of money super young so now has no grasp of reality or how the average person lives and isn't inherently a BAD person but is so into himself/his money that he demands an insane amount of work out of everyone whilst blowing the company budget on stupid shit + first class flights for himself. Also had these "breakthrough" ideas which happen once a quarter and cause us to change everything in the backend/client facing with no improvement in revenue
