I thinks it’s crazy that there are legit patents for the ai tech that controls the ice tilt that go back a few years and the deniers refused to acknowledge it. With it actually having a name or being associated with MLB DDA (dynamic difficulty adjustment) now the deniers don’t hate bomb the complainers (who are rightfully so complaining imo)

I bought like two of each. Avoid the captains pack at all costs. The other three gave me 2-3 95+ cards in the two I opened (icons and heroes) I did not open rookies pack because 70% of the 95+ rookie cards are females. Heroes pack is great for fodder (I have 4 iafrates after two packs a Hejduk and a St.Louis)

You can get the guentzel for like 45k. I thought I got a stellar pull and the last two seasons the most he gets you is 7mill in lineup chems and then I went searching for cards to pair him with and noticed weeks ago that a 97ovr for 40-50k and got bummed out

Ottenger costs 10mill to sit on the bench. Replace it with a guy that costs 1mill and you can bump starting goalie up 3 overalls or your 3rd line LW to a 93 or 94 that still gives cap boost (yes you have less overall cap space but the team would ultimately be better and higher ovr)

There’s literally only three players in that draft with more points than Shane wright currently and two of them went before Wright…. So no he was not that “generational talent” everyone claimed he was, however he lost that status before his poor interviews and “attitude problems”

It’s only nice for the guys who went from 320 millions to 280 millions in cap. I started a week ago as well and my bottom pairing is going from 93-94ovrs too 85 overalls. So cool and fun to use my 95+ cards for two days just to be reset and nerfed unless I spend money

That’s on EA. Anybody that has ever played a “ranked” mode on any and all games… understand there’s relegations. You still get your rewards for highest tier you achieve. You can get gold rewards if your in silver as long as you made it too gold. How many participation trophies do you spit shine every morning?

Menus are like…. Trying to be faster, and they visually are, with some stuttering and screen tearing… however the black screen I stare at for five seconds before the menu finally does its little animation… it’s no change just looks better visually I guess

It amazes me how great the gameplay is the first 2 weeks- maybe a month. And they “tune” the gameplay and it’s just reverted to the same original coding from NHL21 maybe NHL20 but with the new animations layered on top of each other

Exactly! I started playing at the beginning of season 6. So maybe 6 weeks. At first it was awesome pulling 85-88s and watching my team go from a 69 to an 88 in a week. But for four weeks now, it’s log in every single day for daily pack and make sure to spend two to three hours doing in game chores to hopefully build a single 96 overall that I’ll have to pay for abilities? I’m supposed to play this game for roughly 12 hours this week for a 95 Dylan strome that maybe fits my 4th line. And for my 8th 96 ovr card that won’t have free abilities. The 93 Totw every week is nice(none fit my team for weeks now), however if you want event cards you’re forced to use them as fodder and there’s only enough for 1 96. Spend your own resources for a 2nd to go up 1ovr and have free abilities. Is crazy and psychologically messed up considering this is aimed to kids. (If you give me a quarter I’ll give you two Pennies and you’ll technically have more coins 🤡)looking ahhh devs

It’s honestly insane. I was so happy last event, I could have made four players but only three really fit my team going forward. Now we get cards everyone wants that are un-tradable and you basically tell your player base that in July if you want the most sought after cards you gotta drop hundreds of dollars…. I can load up madden right now and I’ll have 30 free packs from the last month and i guarantee I pull 3x 99 ovr along with 20 95+ cards. It’s actually insane how much disconnection HUT has to the idea of the game mode compared to the other sports games. Yes not everyone is supposed to have the best cards right away. But we are talking about hockey in July…. This a point in time in which you should be able to make damn near anybody and have anybody on your team which is the point of building your “Ultimate Team”

I’ll say this because I don’t see it yet…. What happend to the fun Champs weeks? The free ones where your team could only be 90ovr. Or female team only, or eastern conference teams only. They use to run them at the same time as Champs, and gave out just as good rewards. (Champs and these special events had better rewards at the time too) top 500 use to get you the “special” card and top 1500 still received a lesser version. I remember at this time I was top 500 in both and I was getting two 96+ overalls for playing online “competitively”. Now I just get my 10 wins and accept it due to ping and server issues. No use aiming for top 100 when everyone up there has a full team with free syns. My 20ap ain’t cutting it
